On 3/21/07 she had stomach flu,5/24/07 she woke up with a bloody looking eye it's ALWAYS on the same eye (right)on the inner part of the sclera & it never spreads to the other eye,she always says it hurts & it swells up a little. Her pediatrician thought it was conjuvitis & rx Ofloxacin .3% it cleared up in 3 days.

Early this year over new year I was submitted to hospital for emergency treatment on a corneal ulcer and was kept in hospital for three days and given intensive treatment of ofloxacin eye drops every hour, then released from hospital and continued to be on ofloxacin eye drops every 2 hours and steroid drops every 2 hours with frequent visits to the hospitals eye clinic to monitor my progress.
I saw an opthalmic doctor here in France this morning who found that the slipped replacement lens was certainly a contributing factor to my current vision problem. However, with excellent overall vision in the eye, I have lived with this for many years without any 'ghosting' or double vision occurring.
later urinary urgency started and i was tested for chlamydia and gonnorhea then placed on a range of antibiotics on and off for 2 months. by 2 months i finally got into a urologist, who noted that my flow was extremely slow, my emptying was very poor and i needed to do something. he placed me on a range of antibiotics in combnation with xatral. after months of this the symptoms abated.
s more than a month now my vision is still blurred and pupil is still extremely dilated. My vision was blurry even before I used atropine and Maxidrol eye ointment. Ofloxacin was the eye drop I was using before atropine. Doctor told me that I should have my vision back in two weeks and asked me to stop using atropine and prescribed hypromellose. My vision has improved but distant still looks blurry. What's my problem?
In addition I did another calculation and actually I tested negative for Mycoplasma 25 days after taking Ofloxacin. I learnt that Urine tests are pretty accurate so I strongly believe that I do not have ngu any more. But what conserns me is continuos clear discharge after I wake up. That has now happened 4 days in a row. I know that because my penis head is moist. I do not see it happening during the day - even if I have long breaks between urinating.
Welcome to our Forum. I can understand how after being in the strip club you might be concerned that you somehow picked up an STD through contact with a dancer but it is most unlikely. Let me outline some of the reasons that I say this:
1. Chlamydia is simply not effectively transmitted from one person to another on contaminated fingers. If it were we would see genital infections as well as eye infections arising this way and we do not.

After having unprotected sex the head of my penis got itchy in the inside of the hole and had a very little amount of discharge. I searched the net to find the answer and the closest to my symptom is urethritis. Upon reading through the forums related to STDs, found out that some folks were prescribed with ofloxacin. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours.
Hi how's it going? Not too good for me. My left eye has been red only in the corner, it looks like my eye is really strained. It's been going on for about 2 months. I've seen 2 different opthamologist's about 4 times all together. The first doctor didn't seem concerned about her patients; she just looked in my eye for 1 minute and gave me a sample of blink artificial tears. The other doctor just prescribed me to Ofloxacin.
What worries me now is that inflamation has reached near the cornea, as an incomplete bluish ring. May this threaten the cornea? My vision is not normal and i have had watery eye for about half a year now.
What treatment do you think will be best for this condition? Ciclosporine after a steroid, another antibiotic?

Part of me thinks that taking so much of that antibiotic, perhaps unnecessarily, has led to a persistent rash on my forehead. The rash looks a bit like acne - small, red bumps, with slight blackheads - but looks scaly, dry, and really just like a number of small, spread out red bumps.
5 yrs started complaining of stomach pain and diarrhea four days back when the doctor prescribed ofloxacin and metronidazole suspension which had some effect in the first two days but worsened later.
Subsequently we got his stool examined which tested positive with RBCs, mucous, pus cells and tiny specs of blood. The docter then gave ofloxacin and ornidazole suspension.
emergency by family doctor for my eye infection. The doctor (Senior house officer and Registrar) informed me that I have cornea ulcer, pus and inflamation. He prescribed Exocin (Ofloxacin 0.3%)one drop every hour and Chloromycetin at night and monitored me every day for last 8 days. No improvement so far. He took a swab from my eye yesterday and I'm due to see him again on Monday (2 days time). My cornea has a white line (tiny) at the edge of Cornea and can be seen with a naked eye.
Do you suggest I take the Doxycycline and/or the Oflox
I checkeed with thedoctor with test report of urinalysis and blood CBC. In Urine,they found WBC of 33 and no bacteria..Gave me ofloxacin for 1more week.
I checked with a dermatologist and they said there was no rash or red spots in the penis
After a couple of days,i had itching on anus and a bit of burning sensation...can i get this in anus entrance too?? pls reply...also suggest the best test to determine for hepes...and how long should i wait..
The doctor put me back on Ofloxacin for 2 more weeks and gave me Terramycin ointment to rub into my urethra 3 times a day. Again the symptoms subsided completely but returned a week after ending the treatment.
I went to a different urologist who switched me to a week of Doxycycline (100mg x2 a day) and a followup back on Ofloxacin and to stop the Terramycin.
At the same time when I got tested for Syphilis VDRL, I also got tested for Chlamydia PCR urine test and Gonococcal PCR urine test. Negative results for both tests. Can I assume these 2 tests results are also reliable? Although I have taken the above mentioned antibiotics? The duration between the last dose of last antibiotic Zinnat and the testing day is around 20 days.

Wednesday Morning- Called Drs, they said it was nothing
Wednesday Evening - Develop a sore in my mouth under my tongue
Thursday - Went to the Docs, got test for everything. My neck glads swelled up and my throat is feels closed too, the same symptom i had actually when i had tonsillitis.
Thursday / Friday- all of the above symptoms plus my face feels numb in areas (checks chin).Even as far up just above my eye brows.
