i havnt had a period in two months i just got put on the nuvaring and im cramping alot is that normal..
Toward the end of July I took out my Nuvaring and discontinued my use of it because of all the side affects that I have recently become aware of. I am not on any other type of BC at the moment but for the last week or more my nipples have been EXTREMELY sore..so sore that a touch makes me cringe and back away immediately. After removing the Nuvaring, I got my period from July 29th-Aug 1 so I am due to get it again in about a week.
Why is my period on again after inserting the nuvaring?? I thought it was suppose to stop when u insert it in the vigina and your period comes on after taking it out... I'm confused why is my period on again while my nuvaring is inserted??
how long do u spot after usin the nuvaring..i was to be done with my period on wed and in still spotting... the reason they keep puttin me on these different birth controls is because i have mt period every 2 weeks...
Well , I started the Nuvaring as soon as my period came on last Wednesday , as I was told by my doctor to do so . And it made my period light , but made me cramp for 4 days straight . So I took it out on the fourth day because I thought the cramps would stop . On the 5th day , my period went off as it should ; but came back on later that night . It was weird because it was brown at first . But the next day it was bright red and heavy and has been that way since .
Two days ago, I thought my period was coming on for this month because I had light spotting. However, when I got ready to change my tampon, something fell out of my vagina! It looked like a piece of skin about the size of my palm and it was covered in dark dark blood, nearly black. I went to the ER and they didn't know what it was so they sent it off to a pathologist to be tested. Dr ruled out miscarriage.
to the point were my boyfriend loses his erection anytime we try and have sex. Can i take the nuvaring out to have sex then put it back in after and still be protected. Two different pharmacist, and a few people who have used the nuvaring in the past have said yes but my Dr. said no. I don't really know who to believe.
I don't know why bacterial vaginosis keeps coming back. I've had it since I was a teenager i.e before I was sexually active and it appears very often (mostly after my period has finished). I maintain good hygiene,wear cotton underwear and don't change partners but it just reappears all the time. I would be very thankful if you share some advice and I also want to ask if using antibacterial wet wipes might have been the problem this time.

When EXACTLY was your last period?
I guess I should start at the beginning. I was on Nuvaring and was always regular (even when not on BC), I stopped Nuvaring Oct of 2015 due to having bad migraines, my gyn and I wanted to see if it was the cause. Still had them, so in February of 2016 I restarted it. I had a period the last week of Jan (was getting them every 2-3 weeks due to coming off of it). I had it again the week of Feb 2. I had protected sex Feb 5th and was still lightly bleeding then.
My boyfriend and I were just having sex and when he came we noticed some traces of blood on his penis. After figuring out it was coming from me, I took out my NuvaRing (which I am going to officially remove tomorrow-the end of the three week cycle) and rinsed the blood off then fished for any blood. There is just light bleeding but I believe it is mildly consistent. We were going kind of rough, but I'm not really in any pain.
There was no note regarding the simple cysts on the dr.s note. I just started the nuvaring for birth control last week to try to stop the cysts from forming. I had a 2.3 cm simple cyst on the left in January. I am 35 years old. I am planning on following up with my gyn in 6 weeks if I am still getting pain.
Can I safely rule out ovca? I would think with all of these tests I should be ok. My mom, grandma and great grandma all had breast cancer.
burn when i urinate which might be the case that my head is irritated. Nothing obnormal coming out of urine no blood or white puss etc.. Penis is tender to touch.
I have been looking up online for everything from irritation due to the nuvaring to every thing i can think of and I am in the blue with it until my doctor gets back to me with the urine sample.
another scare is i feel like i am coming down with a cold.
About 6 months ago out of nowhere, I went to take my nuvaring out and noticed some swelling inside my vagina. At first I thought it was a lump, so I made a doctors appointment right away. My usual doctor wasn’t available but the doctor I did see checked me out and told me she found nothing unusual, and that I may just have been feeling some tissue irritation caused by the nuvaring. I took it out for my usual period and at the end of the week the swelling seemed to go down.
i miscarried at 8 weeks with blighted ovum and after that devestation i used nuvaring again and this time faithfully.......i took out my nuvaring and didnt think much of it until the next day when i started throwing up everywhere! i bought a test for the hell of it and it said PREGNANT! i was in complete shock because i had been on the nuvaring for a while! i used at end of JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and found out i was pregnant in october!!!
I have been on birth control for the past three years, I was on yasmin for two years and had severe headaches and was then put on seasonique. I tried to stick it out with the seasonique but I just recently got so fed up with the depression and symptoms I stopped taking it all together. I had NO sex drive on seasonique and now I have a healthy one again but I want to find a birth control that does not take away my sex drive or make me depressed. I was thinking maybe ortho tri cylcen low.
