i havnt had a period in two months i just got put on the nuvaring and im cramping alot is that normal..

how long do u spot after usin the nuvaring..i was to be done with my period on wed and in still spotting... the reason they keep puttin me on these different birth controls is because i have mt period every 2 weeks...

There's many things, but definitely not a pill if you're forgetful. There's an IUD, nuvaring, depo shot, etc, that are better if you're forgetful. Have you met with a gyn. about your options?

I've been looking into an IUD, never had the patch personally (was afraid it'd fall off or something) but I know I wouldn't recommend the implanon/nexplanon implant or Nuvaring, the implant causes crazy side effects and Nuvaring doesn't stay in for anything!

to the point were my boyfriend loses his erection anytime we try and have sex. Can i take the nuvaring out to have sex then put it back in after and still be protected. Two different pharmacist, and a few people who have used the nuvaring in the past have said yes but my Dr. said no. I don't really know who to believe.

After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.Also I had very painful cramps only on left side. I was told not to leave nuvaring out for week that I should replace with new one as soon as other one was removed, so i did and i had severe cramping and kept bleeding the dark smelly blood again not spotting lite bleeding.

There was no note regarding the simple cysts on the dr.s note. I just started the nuvaring for birth control last week to try to stop the cysts from forming. I had a 2.3 cm simple cyst on the left in January. I am 35 years old. I am planning on following up with my gyn in 6 weeks if I am still getting pain. Can I safely rule out ovca? I would think with all of these tests I should be ok. My mom, grandma and great grandma all had breast cancer.

About 6 months ago out of nowhere, I went to take my nuvaring out and noticed some swelling inside my vagina. At first I thought it was a lump, so I made a doctors appointment right away. My usual doctor wasn’t available but the doctor I did see checked me out and told me she found nothing unusual, and that I may just have been feeling some tissue irritation caused by the nuvaring. I took it out for my usual period and at the end of the week the swelling seemed to go down.

I started trying to make a baby soon after taking the ring out. I have not had a cycle since i’ve taken the NuvaRing out and it’s going on a month now.

i miscarried at 8 weeks with blighted ovum and after that devestation i used nuvaring again and this time faithfully.......i took out my nuvaring and didnt think much of it until the next day when i started throwing up everywhere! i bought a test for the hell of it and it said PREGNANT! i was in complete shock because i had been on the nuvaring for a while! i used at end of JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and found out i was pregnant in october!!!

I have been on birth control for the past three years, I was on yasmin for two years and had severe headaches and was then put on seasonique. I tried to stick it out with the seasonique but I just recently got so fed up with the depression and symptoms I stopped taking it all together. I had NO sex drive on seasonique and now I have a healthy one again but I want to find a birth control that does not take away my sex drive or make me depressed. I was thinking maybe ortho tri cylcen low.

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

I went home on break and checked my calendar and realized i should have taken the nuvaring out the day before. I took the ring i had in out, and went back to work for four hours until i could pick up my new nuvaring at the pharmacy after work. I put it in as soon as i got home, thinking i was putting it in on the first day of my period so i would be immediately protected. I woke up the next morning and now there is no blood, so i must not be having a period.

I have a question my first time using the nuvaring and I took it out that 2nd week so onJune 29 I took my nuvaring out and never put it back in had sex the next day and we had sex 3 times that day ... I never put my nuvaring back in so I started having a bad migraine and my stomach started cramping on July 3 and July 4 as of today I spotted blood a little ..

I stopped taking Nuvaring 4 months ago and my weigfht is rising.I have gained 9 kilos' in that time.I have never been so heavy before.My diet did not change and i train 3 times a week at gym. Nuvaring is the worst BC i have ever tried . I got moody, got vaginal tearing every day just from wiping myself, i got heave discharge, fatigue.... the list goes on.No-one knows how long it takes to get rid of.Even my doctor told me that it should be out of my system within 3 days..B$%^&*@#$ !!!!!

The nuvaring always made me have weird symptoms. I swear I thought I was pregnant all the time. I never was. But if you had unprotected sex and then put it in... well you had unprotected sex. Birth control isn't going to work until a week after you put it in which is why they say to double up the method. Best thing to do is wait until you're supposed to take it out and take a pregnancy test. Or take one now since you would have had sex 2 weeks ago and it should be pretty accurate.

I am using the nuvaring and have been since July. I took antibiotics about 6 weeks ago for a cough. I was suppose to start my period on Jan 9th. I started on the 4th but it was only spotting that day then nothing since. I've been having alot of pregnancy symptoms and need some advice. Has this happened to anyone else?

ve read that this is not necessarily worrying, maybe my period will come later, but what should I do about the NuvaRing? Does it still work? Should I take it out, should I keep it in but use additional contraceptives? I'm lost about how and when the NuvaRing works, because the instructions only say what you should do, not why. If it gives off hormones as soon as it's in, then why is the timing so precise? Thanks.

I knew nothing about pancreatitis before that day but that day changed my life forever. I went into the emergency room 3 times before they finally figured out what was wrong and admitted me. Once they realized the severity of my condition they said if I had waited even 24 before getting treatment I could have died. I was there for 10 days. I spent my 30th Birthday and Thanksgiving in that hospital. I couldn't eat or drink anything for 8 of those 10 days.

I thought I was late with changing my nuvaring , so I took it out and put a new one instead. Couple minutes later I noticed that I had a miscalculation and I was ok with the time, so i put back the old nuvaring and returned the newly opened one to the bag. My question is , what should I do with the one I have opened? Is it still ok to be used or should I throw it away?

i started Nuvaring 3 weeks ago yesterday when i was supposed to ive had sex w/o protection quite a few times since. I was supposed to start my period yesterday Im NEVER late early if anything I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant and that its just not showing up positive yet?

I am not supposed to take the Nuvaring out for my period yet also..why am I bleeding so heavy with it still in? Fatigue is worse than ever now too, along with the nausea and crippling pain.

t elevate any problems we had but Nuvaring made me scream all those suppressed emotions out! Hahaha I ended up breaking up with him and taking the ring out which had also caused horrible leg pains and a lot of discharge :/... So I don't recommend it but it did me good coz I got the guts to break it off with my guy. Few months later, he came back begging to have me again hahaha...
