Sweetangel took the words right out of my mouth. Most likely it is side effects from starting new birth control. If you're concerned take a test since it should be accurate by now.

t get your period anymore, tons of weight gain, hair loss, increase your risk of getting breast cancer...i mean is all of this true. please share with me b/c i am kind of nervous to get on this birth control.

It did make me hormonal. Personally, I like nuvaring. Its a small flexible ring, you or your doctor insert it sort of like a tampon (but with your fingers) and it stays in place 3 weeks. It lessened my acne, I never gained weight, I had no hormonal issues with it. I hate pills, I can't remember to take them and they always made me gain weight. But the nuva ring is expensive if you don't have insurance! It's over 100 $ a month.

I really want to try a new medication for my endometriosis, but It's very hard to decide. I'm on progesterone now (been on this for a year) the good thing is that it FINALLY stopped my periods and sometimes my pain. (stopping bleeding is goal) but the bad side is that I'm suffering with horrible side effects such as hot flashes (I get them like every 5-10 minutes. It's horrible!

I started the nuvaring after I healed from my last laparoscopy. I am at a loss I dont know whats wrong. I have resorted in thinking maybe theres mold in my apartment thats making me so sick. But I feel it could be nuvaring related.

OK so... on March 2nd I found out I had a miscarriage & on the 5th I had a full D&C and was told that would be the first day of my new cycle. Now although I was told not to have set before my follow up appointment I did. The day of my follow up which was March 20th, I was told everything looked good & I went back on the Nuvaring. Ever since then I've been on a major weight loss kick, but in the meantime I've been feeling nauseous.

i started Nuvaring 3 weeks ago yesterday when i was supposed to ive had sex w/o protection quite a few times since. I was supposed to start my period yesterday Im NEVER late early if anything I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant and that its just not showing up positive yet?

I am sorry to hear about your issues with nuvaring. I had started the nuvaring for perimenopause issues my gyn said would help. No docs Ive talked to since have heard of this being used for anything other than birth control my but tubs have been tied for years.After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.

When I stopped taking it, my weight levelled out and I stopped gaining (and my migraines went away too). After two years off the birth control though, my periods stopped coming, so I went to the doctor who put me on the NuvaRing for three months, "to jump-start your periods," she told me.

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

My periods have been very heavy with the past one lasting two weeks with large tissue discharge. I was on the NuvaRing for 3 months straight and used it to skip my cycle. After the 3rd or 4th week I would take it out & put in a new ring. While doing this I still bled either light or really heavy. I stopped using the NuvaRing the week before Thanksgiving. My husband & I started trying to make a baby soon after taking the ring out. i miscarried at 8 weeks with blighted ovum and after that devestation i used nuvaring again and this time faithfully.......i took out my nuvaring and didnt think much of it until the next day when i started throwing up everywhere! i bought a test for the hell of it and it said PREGNANT! i was in complete shock because i had been on the nuvaring for a while! i used at end of JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER and found out i was pregnant in october!!!

Low iron levels can cause hair loss. You might want to get that checked.

I'm losing hair too. Not in clumps but I clog the drain once a week from my hair loss. And all my friends said their hair was so full and healthy during pregnancy and after lost some. I get a ball of hair during evey wash and its not normal for me also my scalp itches like crazy and I don't have bugs lol o had my husband check lol!

Especially after combing my hair,there is a ton of hair in the sink. However my hair seems to be growing as fast as it falls out so I have thickness still. Someone told me to drink more milk and I find on the days that I do I see less shedding.

It makes me depress everytime i see how plenty of hair i loss. I tried every hair fall shampoo but none of those worked. I don't wanna comb my hair anymore.

Is Anyone experiencing hair loss during pregnancy I thought I was Going to have this really beautiful hair but is not working out that way does it mean that I'm going to have a girl?
