1396846 tn?1332459510 I have had constant hissing in my ears for many years and it tends to make it harder for me to hear things. I think I remember reading somewhere that besides damage due to constant loud noise it can also come from wax buildup and milder infections that have not progressed to the point of other symptoms. But don't quote me on that.
Avatar f tn first i had ringing in my right ear for a day now its in my left ear and stopped in my right ear. very loud high pitched and annoying. i also suffer from a year and two month long migraine, not sure if that has anything to do with it. does this ringing ever go away???!

Avatar n tn I quit taking the chiropractors supplements, but not for that long. I have constant ringing in the ears. This is the worst symptom I have had. It all started after taking hydrocortisone for my very low cortisol levels and Cytomel. Now the endo wants me to only take the Cytomel for my Reverse T3. The rining seemed to get worse. I really don't know what to do at this point. I felt like I had so much energy on hydrocortisone and I only took that for 1 week.

Below belly button, nipples r now tender, cramps, it seems I have more eye boogers than normal, I'm HUNGRY all the time, I can eat and be hungry and hour or two later, think about food all the time.
Avatar f tn he was treated for depression ..but he has complained of the ringing in the ears on and off which I thought was odd and he will have to ask doc about it. He never took ibuprofen..but he was on vicodan for 2 small herniated discs last jan. He hasn't taken them for weeks since he;s feeling better. Thank you all, for all your input. I know i'm a bit of a pest with the questions but I learned the hard way that some doctors no more then others and its best to be prepared.
2122807 tn?1560619706 and all of these dreadful symptoms are a thing of the past, except for one.... this ringing in the ears. It is not as intense as it was in the beginning, but still very annoying. Does anyone know how long this may take, and has anyone had this be permanant? I can live with it, life is great now, but it sure would be nice to get rid of.

Avatar f tn For years have had ringining in ears off and on but the last couple months it has been chronic. Along with that experience very cold hands and chills. Sometimes my face is very red and hot. No fever as yet. Trouble sleeping. Doctor seems puzzled over these symptoms. This discussion is related to CONSTANT RINGING IN EARS.

Avatar n tn I have a grandmother and a cousin who are both legally deaf and several other people, including myself, with some level of hearing loss. Ringing in the ears is very common for all of us. I highly recommend seeing a doctor about this. They may find something else is going on or, at least, they may find a way to relieve it.
Avatar m tn I've had a ringing in my ears for as long as I can remember, but just recently became aware of it. It sounds like the high pitched noise that comes from a tv that's on but muted. When I do things like bite down hard or open my mouth really wide, it gets louder. Does anyone know what's wrong, or if there's anything I can do?
Avatar m tn I am since off the med and the ringing is still there. I had my ears checked and have slight hearing loss in that ear too. Seeing the ENT really helped. He thought at first it could have been allergies, blocked eustachion (sp?) tubes....?? But then after diagnosing hearing loss he said that can cause the ringning in the ears.... He said I could try Lipo Flaviniod sold at most drug stores. Its a vitamin. Also said I could try a nasal steroid spray for allergies.
Avatar f tn m 42 and have dealt with this for a year some times it is water in the ears you can use alcohol too evaporate the water in your ears and sometimes it's your blood pressure because let's face it everything gets out of wack with menopause even blood pressure so some of it could be from that as well there are some over the counter vitamins that are for menopause I started using them and it helped it's not nearly as frequent now
Avatar f tn 2-3 mm of cerebellar tonsillar ectopia. I originally went in and saw the doctor because of a constant ringing in my ears. After a fun filled question and answer session my doctor ordered an MRI thinking I might have MS. Now the results are back and I am told it could be Chiari Type 1. I am waiting to see a nuerologist that specializes in Chiari. My question that has yet to be answered is why the ringing in my ears? Is there any connection?

Avatar f tn I have had Graves Disease for the past 15 years and have had many of the symptom associated with it, but recently I have started to have ringing in the ears, numbness on the left side of my face and a twitching left eyelid. Is this just a part of having Graves Disease or is this something else? If it is something else what could it be?
Avatar f tn thanks for the info. Just wanted to know if this is a ms symptom. Will talk with neurologist about this problem. Maybe ENT problem?? Who knows these days?? I hate just not knowing what is wrong with me.
1139187 tn?1355706647 I have really bad ringing in my ears. I also have hashimotos thyroid but the endocronologist thinks I need to see a neurologist. I had a cat scan done last week for aneurysm and was cleared of that. If my ear is ringing from a neuroloigcal issue, what else could it be?
Avatar f tn Hi MelO326. I have this ringing swishing sound in both ears. I will be 45 in a couple of weeks and I do not know what it is like to not have it; but, it is aggravating nonetheless; esp. when lying down to go to sleep at night. Sometimes, it is worse than other times. Especially, when I have a head cold, sinus, the few days leading up to my period, etc. and there are times I will get lightheadnes and or dizzy spells that can last up to 3 days and nights....had that to happen just last week.
