I've been trying to get to the bottom of this and I've asked on other forums but got no replies. I am hoping to get some replies here. I am 25. For 11 years straight, I have had problems with my right ear since I got an ear infection after a bout of flu. In recent years however my symptoms have worsened exponentially and it is getting me very concerned. The ringing in my right (bad) ear is constant.

I have been on Suboxone for 6 years...I wondering if anyone has any type of ear problems from it!? Or have experienced ringing, buzzing, whooshing noises. I have lost 170 pounds and different things have popped up over the years....I'm very healthy, weigh 130 pounds, but I'm going to lose my mind from this unknown source! The House Ear Clinic is doing a lot of trial and error? Anyone out there that can relate?

So you have seen others with hashis struggle with all the funkyness of taking t4? my biggest symptom is the ear ringing, but the ear ringing gets worse ON t4.

l am sick of going to the docs with my ringing and constantly feeling blocked ear, l have seen 3 different docs and 1 ENT all of which say my ears look fine, they are not fine and at the moment my head is throbbing, my left ear ringing and feeling very pressurised, l feel very down and depressed and worried as in 5 weeks l'm off to europe :( This is supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime with my fanily and all l can think of is what is going to happen with my ears, can anybody help me?

I did a bunch of research on google about ear ringing and I see all these horrible stories about tinnitus and how it can put such a big impact on someones life. I'm just so worried, like I said it's really not bad at all during the day it's almost like it's not there, it seems like only at night when I cover my ear on a pillow or something I can hear it the most. Did you address the ringing with your doctor? It would be best to see and ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor for this. my question is every now and then my ears will ring for a short time,but today they stated at about 3pm and its 249am next day and still ringing is this something to worry adout?

I have ringing in my ears and I am losing my hearing. This has been going on for about three months.I have seen a doctor a couple of times and he tells me there is nothing that can be done. He says that no surgery will help,only that hearing aids might limit the noise.My insurance will not cover hearing aids and this ringing is driving me crazy. Is my doctor telling me the truth. Hi, i am 21 years old male i was hammering a metal about 2 days ago i wasn't wearing ear plugs or anything. I hit the hammer on the edge of metal the noise just went inside my ear it plugged it for about 4 mins and i had the ringing noise i thought it will go away, but it has been 3 days since its still ringing a little bit when i close my right ear. 2 months ago I noticed a ringing in my left ear. Round about that time I had an inflammation in my throat as well for 3 weeks solid. But The ringing went away again, came back after maybe 2 weeks and went again. But since last week its constant. Also, the left cheekbone area feels as if it was bruised when i touch it. I was watching a documentary and heard about a case where a woman was put on niacin supplements for depression. She was taking very large dosages, but it completely pulled her out of her depression. So far fluoxetine has helped me, but I think in time I will need a larger dosage. I would really rather not do that, so my question is: is it safe to take niacin supplements of 100 mg daily plus an extra multivitamin with 20mg. I don't want to end up taking too many vitamins.
