Avatar f tn I did when too when i was preg with my first, I had it on my back too, the doc said there was nothing I could really use except a mild soap or face wash, I've always used Tone Original bar soap on my face, even when I'm not preg cuz its the only thing that keeps my break outs at bay, but with my first it seemed like nothing helped, I haven't had break outs with this one tho besides my normal bump here and there.
Avatar f tn I'm 13 weeks :) I had really bad acne at first but I started washing my face with dove bar of soap it's unscented .my face cleared up nicely and I have sensitive skin and only vet few things work but it's something I'd recommend just cause the next morning my face looked so much better and healthier :) i do it 2 times a day then some face lotion .
Avatar f tn I bought the orange soap bar for acne prone skin. Works great! They are barely noticeable anymore. Been using for about a week.
Avatar f tn t safe while pregnant but confirm by reading the labels! Apparently charcoal soap is amazing for acne.. I think you can get it at Walmart.
Avatar f tn Neutrogena Acne Stress Control. its a white & light mint bottle. Works amazing!!
Avatar f tn Generally speaking, any soap you use on your vagina should be PH neutral so as not to disrupt the normal, slightly acidic PH in your vagina that keeps things like yeast away. I recommend Neutrogena fragrance-free bar soap. You don't even really need to use soap, though, just a good rinse with water.
1454858 tn?1306784378 Sounds like me! The first trimester I had so much acne. I use the neutrogena face wash that's in the plan bottle at Wal-mart. It's orange. It's for oily skin and it really is the only thing that helped. For moisturizer I ordered the philosophy off of sephora. But I'm sure if you get something gentle and made for the face it'll be okay. It nearly went away with my second trimester.
Avatar f tn I use neutrogina acne bar soap works so well and doesnt dry out my skin:)
Avatar f tn I quit the acne wash and switched to a mild soap (dove) and a very light WATER BASED face moisturizer (neutrogena), I still have some folliculitis, but no more crust instead of skin! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize - drink lots of water etc, etc - AND some folks like me (very fair skinned) have to avoid oil-based products. Good luck and hang in there!
1847035 tn?1327274923 I use neutrogena the brown face bar for acne prone skin for years it can be drying just dnt leave the soap on longer than a minute it washes clean and contains no medicine use a good face lotion as well with breakouts apply a cream from cvs or rite aid that contains benzoyl peroxide and apply generously at night or every other its drying then u should start to clear if u have huge cyst like bumps.
2139403 tn?1339437937 I bought neutrogena face soap (Deep Clean-normal to oily skin) and some Garnier spf 15 face lotion and clearasil alcohol wipes and my face cleared up in a few days. Hopefully yours clears up quickly!

Avatar n tn t use salicylic acid in the 72 hs after the treatment, and to avoid ALL soaps for 1 week? Because my acne cleanser is a bar soap that contains salicylic acid. Should I stop it for 72 hs or 1 week?
Avatar n tn Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as Neosporin are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then please get an examination done from a dermatologist. 313193 tn?1194192298 I use the Dove with moisturizer soap and it works really well for me. Another skin product that I found very useful was Neutrogena (for sensitive skin) - not sure if you have it in the UK, but it workes wonders for me when I have acne. I use the stuff that has little microbeads in it - it helps get the dirt/oil out of the poors. It literally feels like hand lotion with sand in it. Your skin could be very sensitive and thus by using a more powerful solution it will just harm your skin.
Avatar f tn I started using an all natural soap and coconut oil. I use African black soap for my face and body then the coconut oil for a moisturizer. Nothing else worked. I found all the department store brands or drugstore brands made it worse due to all the chemicals. My skin is now better than it has been in years! Try it.
Avatar f tn t take any acne medicines. My midwife recommended Dove bar soap for washing my face. I still breakout, but not as bad this pregnancy as last time. I also do egg white masks with oatmeal and tiny bit of honey for about 20 mins.
325319 tn?1220588398 I read somewhere that Proactiv wasn't proven safe during pregnancy, but don't quote me... I am having similar issues. I am 9 weeks along and have broken out mostly on my forehead and chin. I have finally come up w/a regimen that works for me: Neutrogena Extra Gentle face wash (don't use anything w/soap in it) and Neutrogena moisturizer all over. My skin is really oily, but moisturizing actually helps smooth things out and prevent zits.
Avatar f tn My I do use apricot scrub for my acne it helps. And put a good lotion on after. If you have acne all over your body you could buy a bar soap that has benzoyl peroxide in it. And wash you body with it. It kind of dries your skin out so you want to make sure you have some good lotion.
1222368 tn?1266947996 ) Also I use Aveno bar soap for my skin, as listed below, and Lever 2000 soap for the private parts as it says. So far (past 6 months) no more itching. :) Here is that excerpt- (http://scleroderma.jhmi.edu/patients/patient-f-a-q.html)- What can I do to prevent the itching?
Avatar f tn Same here,!!! get a bar of dial soap cleared mine right up ,!
Avatar f tn I was told by the Dr not to use any acne creams or washes. I had very bad pregnancy acne, so I now wash with a mild soap like ivory twice a day and wet some cotton with peroxide and wipe my face with it and it cleared up my acne and has kept it away. Mine was severe too.
Avatar f tn What I use that works really well is the sulfur soap bar. I wash my face in the morning and night but leave it for 10 min then I rinse it off with cold water and after I just use coconut oil as a moisturizer because everything else make me break out more or it irritates my skin. Sorry for the long post!! Hope this helps!!
568659 tn?1256139982 I did the 1st 5 7 weeks or so. I used neutrogena acne pads. It seemed to work be sure to drink lots of water and try to wash your face at night! It stinks but it should get better soon..,.How many weeks are you.? Ps I even got it on my back and chest.....
