Hi. What is your son's diagnosis? If he has acne or rosacea a course of oral antibiotics from his doctor may be effective. Clinique have lauched a new range of products called Redness Solutions. Using their cleanser and moisturiser will reduce visable redness of the face. I also recommend Eucerin's Redness Relief cleanser and moisturiser, which is a bit less expensive.

Try acne solutions by clinique. Its maybe $80 for the system. Ive used it and my 9 yr old uses it daily. Its none allergenic and it was developed by dermatologists.

I use Clinique Anti-blemish solutions - facial cleansing foam, toner, moisturiser and eye cream. These have never caused any reactions in the years of using them and they are dermatologically tested. He washes his face with a brand called PURPOSE bar soap, and moisturizes after with PURPOSE face lotion. they come in a blue package, they are manufactured by johnson-johnson. Both are non-comedogenic (will not clog pores). The products are a little pricier than run-of-the-mill face products, but put together the cost of both shouldn't be more than $15, give or take. hope this helps!

I didn't get any acne, but I always use Clean and Clear antibacterial face wash. Nothing with salicylic acid. I use a hydrating face GEL (not a lotion or cream) and I haven't gotten any acne. It's worth a try! Good luck!

I started breaking out the last couple weeks of my pregnancy & after I had my daughter. My face looked really bad. I use Clinique & it works really good. I have sensitive skin & I love clinique. It's kind of expensive but it works. Now I am 38 weeks with my 2nd child and every time I break out I use my Clinique & my face clears right up.

t use salicylic acid in the 72 hs after the treatment, and to avoid ALL soaps for 1 week? Because my acne cleanser is a bar soap that contains salicylic acid. Should I stop it for 72 hs or 1 week?

have been on roaccutane for 3 weeks now, I tablet a day, from by derm, cos apparently i have perorial dermititus, after 2 months on doxy and 3 months on minocyline, and my rash (on each side of my mouth) are getting bigger. should i go back on minocycline. And if so, can i take minocycline straight away after stopping roaccutane.

Wanting to help her feel better I got her the Clinique Acne Solutions 3 step process. She used it for 2 days and now it appears that her face in burned...some spots worse than others. How do we treat this? I made an appt with a dermatologist but we can't get in for a month. HELP!

t take any acne medicines. My midwife recommended Dove bar soap for washing my face. I still breakout, but not as bad this pregnancy as last time. I also do egg white masks with oatmeal and tiny bit of honey for about 20 mins.

I'm 13 weeks :) I had really bad acne at first but I started washing my face with dove bar of soap it's unscented .my face cleared up nicely and I have sensitive skin and only vet few things work but it's something I'd recommend just cause the next morning my face looked so much better and healthier :) i do it 2 times a day then some face lotion .

I did when too when i was preg with my first, I had it on my back too, the doc said there was nothing I could really use except a mild soap or face wash, I've always used Tone Original bar soap on my face, even when I'm not preg cuz its the only thing that keeps my break outs at bay, but with my first it seemed like nothing helped, I haven't had break outs with this one tho besides my normal bump here and there.

My I do use apricot scrub for my acne it helps. And put a good lotion on after. If you have acne all over your body you could buy a bar soap that has benzoyl peroxide in it. And wash you body with it. It kind of dries your skin out so you want to make sure you have some good lotion.

I dont have acne this pregnancy but I had awful acne with my 1st. What helped me was switching my face wash. I switched from clinique to peter thomas roth anri aging cleanser and havent looked back.

I was told by the Dr not to use any acne creams or washes. I had very bad pregnancy acne, so I now wash with a mild soap like ivory twice a day and wet some cotton with peroxide and wipe my face with it and it cleared up my acne and has kept it away. Mine was severe too.

So I get hives with most products that have perfume that I put on, body creams, foundation, basically anything with fragrance he ones I don't think effect me as much is perfume spray I get the occasional sneeze when I spray it on but no hives, shampoo n conditioner doesn't make me get hives either but I get the occasional itch....

What I use that works really well is the sulfur soap bar. I wash my face in the morning and night but leave it for 10 min then I rinse it off with cold water and after I just use coconut oil as a moisturizer because everything else make me break out more or it irritates my skin. Now i have used different after shaves and i have shaved with shaving cream and tried bar soap and i get the same issue. My skin is red to dark red in color and will sometimes look like horrible acne or bad rashes caused by poison oak or other irritants. The main area is my neck or under the jaw line. I have pressed hard to shave tryed doing it light and tryed it slow.

Same heree ive been using the neutragina acne bar soap and it seems to help i never hadacne before i hates it!

i have suffered from acne for the last 12 years, due which i have got large pores on my cheeks, can you please suggest ways in which i could minimise those.

God I never knew I could have acne lol until I became pregnant im a big skin care taker when it comes to my face and out of nowhere they just started to pop out ugh does anyone know of a way to take them a way I hate them I feel like my face looks like a rocky mountain when applied makeup to it lol
