I have in the past- recipe similiar to the one posted by sunshine, minus the dish soap. For our family it was the best soap I have ever used! This is also wonderful for people that are sensitive to the many additives in commercial soaps.

My son was born with eczema so I used a similar recipe but turned mine liquid instead of powder. I also used zote soap bar but all the other ingrediants are the same.

Ooooo, try and find a face soap... That have Greek yogurt in it.. :) there's a shop here in Florida, who sells homemade soaps... And they work wonders... I'm sure you can find a name brand that sells Greek yogurt body/face soaps... I got lucky, and didn't break out too bad.. But, I used that soap.. And it went away.

I have recently used an at home recipe for waxing. The recipe contained brown sugar lemon juice and water. I waxed around my chin area and upper lip. After waxing within the 3 days after I developed red bumps in those areas. I am not sure if you can consider it rosacea or not. I have had acne prone skin for my whole life but recently got over it, so I am not stressed and worried as my skin is no longer clear. The bumps are very close together and feel very rough, they are also quite sore.

A few months ago, my face just randomly broke out everywhere, starting with my chin, and within a week was completely covered with acne. I then started using an acne kit called Clean and Clear Advantage, but that only dried out my skin and made it peel pretty badly. During use, the majority of my left cheek started sort of bubbling and swelling up a bit, thinking it was due to the dryness of my face from the acne kit, i stopped using it.

I bought a new foundation and I hope it covers most of my acne but anyways has anyone experience breaking out so much early in pregnancy. I have oily skin but I never broke out so much like maybe a pimple here and there but now I have a lot of tiny bumps(mostly on forehead), dark spots all around but mostly in cheek area. If anybody had bad acne during pregnancy what facial cleaner you used that cleared up your skin.

I will def be using her recipe for homemade wipes and will use her checklist for hospital bags ahh love it!! I love all her recipes for things such as shampoo, toothpaste and everything. I will use her recipes to be.make homemade natural things for my baby boy!

I wanted to start this thread to tell others about the success I have had with my own homemade hemorrhoid cream that relieves pain and itching much better than hydrocortisone and preparation H creams in my opinion. I tried using those like many people, but with very little relief.

I make my own soap...I have been told that it works very well on acne. I use only vegetable oils with at least 40% olive oil then blend other oils for differnent formulas. My cousins and one of my life long friends have both told me that my Goats Milk Oatmeal and Honey soap gave their teenagers good results with acne. So my suggestion is that you look for a handmade soap to wash your face with...then follow the wash with witch hazel and a light moisturizer.

Oh my.gosh homemade baby wipes are the best!!! I make mine with a little organic baby soap and coconut oil.

I regularly make homemade soup usually lentil or chicken and rice... getting bored with these, any other recipes/ideas..

Try not shaving, washing well, and even acne medication(Used sparingly) Cysts- see a doctor, but that's really probably not it.

Shaving cream is great to use for shaving, and there ARE types with lotions in them. But you can also get a "shaving lotion". as long as you put a good amount on the skin so that the razor doesn't brush the skin too hard it should work. Check with your doctor to make sure its alright.

How do you guys calculate the amount calories in a homemade dish? For example my parents will sometimes cook a meal and I'm just lost to how many calories are in it. Also its not really possible to have my mom or whoever makes it record all ingredients and their caloric content. Any suggestions?

I was told by the Dr not to use any acne creams or washes. I had very bad pregnancy acne, so I now wash with a mild soap like ivory twice a day and wet some cotton with peroxide and wipe my face with it and it cleared up my acne and has kept it away. Mine was severe too.

t take any acne medicines. My midwife recommended Dove bar soap for washing my face. I still breakout, but not as bad this pregnancy as last time. I also do egg white masks with oatmeal and tiny bit of honey for about 20 mins.

I'm 13 weeks :) I had really bad acne at first but I started washing my face with dove bar of soap it's unscented .my face cleared up nicely and I have sensitive skin and only vet few things work but it's something I'd recommend just cause the next morning my face looked so much better and healthier :) i do it 2 times a day then some face lotion .

So what is good for breakouts while your pregnant I am having some horrible acne breakouts the past few weeks.
