They are not red unless i mess with them, The are small and look almost like ingrown hairs but not infected or a pore that is covered with skin... Hope that makes sence. This time she gave me low amount of vitamin e cream and sensitive cream for me to apply on my face. Few days later, I noticed there is a bigger pore due to the acne extraction. Start washing this area many times a day with hot water, acne treatments if you have them. If it continues to grow have someone check it. If it grows to a full Boil you will most likely need a medical office to lance it for you.

I have had persistent but fairly mild acne since I was 18 (almost 11 years now). I am a fair-skinned 57 yearold woman who has been on Retinoids since I was thirty due to adult female acne. I was on Renova for a few years, then Tazarotene, but now am on generic Retin-A 0.01% for cost reasons. Benzoyl peroxide is an acne medication that oxidizes the pore so it really cleans out dirt...it works for those closed comedones (the whiteheads, chicken skin bumps etc.) that we sometimes get on our arms as well. The thing is that you have to use it with an alpha-hydroxy cream (neutrogena makes one, and I'm sure other brands do too..) because this removes the dead skin so there is nothing blocking the acne medication in the benzoyl peroxide from getting into the pore.
