I haven't seen one bed bug or signs of any. The bites are few.. some nights 3, some none, and some one. The only bug ive seen in my house is a mosquito. This all coincidentally started when i got a pet snake. Maybe it brought something in? Or its frozen mice did? The bites are red, can range from a nickel to a quarter in size and last randomly from 1-4 days...
I can't tell if what I have is a rash or if it's just a bunch of bug bites? I've counted at least 165 bumps or bites on my body. Most of them are on my stomach, thighs and sides. I have a few on my calves and a spattering of them on my left forearm. They don't really itch, some of them are a little irritated and sensitive to the touch but most of them, like the ones on my stomach are pretty tiny and painless.
I see a lot of people on here have woken up syffering with these stained hands, im wondering if its bedbugs!!! Ive got the stains on my palms, but have bites too, and noticed a dead 'bug' on my bed this morning. So has anyone who has reported these symotoms, had bedbugs? Looking into it, thier faeces is a reddish/brown colour, makes sense.
6 days ago I woke up in the middle of the night with multiple bug bites 6 bites in all, 1 on back of head, 1 on arm, 2 on left leg, 2 on right leg. The bites were initially very large welts like when i get bit by mosquitos, and very painful but not itchy, when I got up in the morning they reduced in size significantly but became very itchy, I ended up scratching them till they bled then i stopped.
I got these rashes that look like a bug bites on my thigh Sunday night when I got home from work. It really itched a lot until I took some benadrily and it helped to stop the itching. When I woke up Monday morning and they were still there, there are 4 of them on the right side of my thigh and one big one on the left, all of them just above my knee. They are not itching that bad anymore but it is Monday night and I would figure if they were bug bites that they would be gone by know.

I have never seen him scratch at all. This week I took him to his pediatrician who told me that they are bug bites and most likely bedbugs since I told her the weekend before we had been out of town. I searched the house upside down cleaned everything and cannot find one trace at all of anything supporting bedbugs. Two days later I took him to the dermatologist hoping I would have a better answer to what was biting him. My husband and I have not been bit by anything at all.
I always have a bad reaction to insect bites or stings with really bad swelling. Normally necessitates application of loads of antihistamine cream, taking maximum dose Piriton tablets for days, then a course of strong antibiotics. If I'm in a situation where I know there is the risk of being bitten, is there any advantage in taking Piriton tablets in advance - along with using insect repellent?
At first, i related them to stress, as I was under a lot of schoolwork, but then I went to a doctor who told me they are probably bug bites and gave me cortisone cream. I told him to also give me something for allergies since I believed i may have been allergic to something i was touching since I only ever get them on my arms and hands, at no point through these 4 months did i get them elsewere.
You might want to check for bed bugs. If you havnt heard of them dont worry, it horrible if you have them but that might be what it is. If so then check you mattress and youll see little bugs. If not then could just be a spider bit its that part of the year where everything starts trying to get into the house. If it gets any bigger you might want to see the doc though!!

My husband who is 44 yr. old male on no meds, good health, no obvious health probs woke up in the middle of the night last night with itching on his chest. It was severe enough to wake him up and he is a heavy,heavy sleeper. Then this am when he woke up he noticed they seemed to be gone. He figured they were just bug bites.
Later in the day, he felt like they were coming on again were undergarments were at and on his scalp. They were itchy but tolerable.
Okay I don't want to scare you at all but I was reading online about a girl who had "bug bites" on her legs like you and they kept coming back and never healing. She then went to see a dermatologist and later was diagnosed with skin cancer. Please I know your in New York, and Americans don't have free health care, but it's worth another solid opinion to rule out that possiblity.
