best antihistamine for mosquito bites

First it started with small red bumps like small mosquito bites on my neck and then my neck started turning red as it started to spread. It is very itchy and has a burning sensation. I think it might be some kind of allergic reaction. Does anyone know what this could be and when will it go away?

My husband has big bites on his inner thigh, penis, and just under his scrotum. They are itchy and painful. Not mosquito bite. Could it be spider bites. Read up on bed bugs and I don't think that is the answer either. Do you have any suggestions? Could it be baby spider bites??? I have about 20-30 itchy red bumps that appear like mosquito bites after a run last night. These cannot be mosquito bites since my feet were covered, but look and itch similarly. A few weeks ago I was on vacation in FL and had the same issue, but the bumps & itchiness started going away within 3-4 days. They all dont always itch but its driving me crazy having random mosquito like bites around me. We checked everywhere for bed bugs turned the house upside down and found NO trace. I have a cat and found no fleas on him. I also thought it could be a roach bite/bites? i have seen them in the home before but i would think having random bites pop up every once in a while i'd see SOMETHING on me? HELP!!!!

It sounds like Shingles. Acyclovir might help. Shingles usually start with a rash and a tingling sensation on the skin. Later one usually gets severe pain under the skin area where the pimples are. You might want to see a doctor about the rash. If it is shingles you will need the anti-viral and possibly some pain meds. there is nothing we can do but prep our apartment for an exterminator, but because we dont live in the best of places the exterminator wont be coming for a couple more days. i am panicking. we have vaccuumed everything thoroughly, threw out the bed, sprayed everything with alcohol and disinfectant. Thanks for the information. I usually do sleep through the flu-like symptoms and rarely notice those effects. For me, the more annoying side effect is the injection sites. They itch!! It's like having a million mosquito bites! And the swelling and redness are rather unsightly as well. I was just wondering if an antihistamine would help.

B1 can help but I used one patch and mosquitos stil bites me (fewer bites).When you have alot of bites very heplful is Hydrocotisone Cream to reduce itching and you can take oral anthistamine Zyrec everyday.Take care.

I believe it may be a allergic reaction to something or moquito bites. But I do not think it is mosquito bites anymore because it has been five days. I used Hydrocortisone Cream USP 2.5% and a All Day Allergy pill 10 mg. The pill seems to be helping as I feel better. But I can't help scratching it. It is on my arms, legs, back, upper chest, and ears. But I am still not sure if it is getting better. Please help ASAP!
