Back at the beginning of december i injured my knee. I had been about to kneel down when my leg gave out and i landed on my knee with it bent in a very awkward way. I had swelling and great amounts of pain and dull ache and after seeing a doctor in A&E was booked for an mri scan and put into a lockable brace which i wore for around 6 weeks as he was sure i'd suffered mcl injury. The scan showed no cartilage damage and no real mcl damage which was suspected.
With help from one of the kid from Indonesia, im totally cured. This boy got 6 sense, and he could see through my body system, at that time i had a severe migraine and sinus as well, one of my friend told me about him, i tried to contact that boy, and he asked me to send my video from head to toe and the video doesn't last for more than 2 hours.
Especially when she moves or walks, she says her both bottoms(where she sits), sometimes hips are hurting so much. Does she need to have MRI or tomography and can she use MRI or tomography with her replacements? Her knee replacement brand is Zimmer and four components:
Zimmer, NextGen, Complete Knee Solution, Legacy Knee-Posterior Stabilized LPS-Flex Femoral Component Option Size D, Right.
If PET scan is normal, it means all the areas of the brain are taking up good amount of sugar. This is rare with a lesion. An MRI which is normal can confirm the findings of a normal PET scan.
The slow build up may not significantly alter the amount of sugar uptake.
The PET scan should be ideally interpreted by a Radiologist, preferably a Neuroradiologist.
PET scan and EEG are two different procedures, running on two different principles.
I have two questions can you please explain in laymen terms.
1. This is what was in the nuclear Medicene doctors finding report, "There is photopenic defect involving the metallic right toe knee arthroplasty hardware". I took this as meaning there is an issue with the hardware on my knee replacement which has cause scare tissue. What else are they trying to say?
I have for the last month developed inner knee pain. Feels like an electrical jolt at times. Is not a constant pain but wakes my up at night.
I have been to an Orthopedic and have had x-rays and MRI. Nothing specific was noted in the x-ray and scan. The Dr suggested orthoscopic surgery to see what he might be able to do. I have not had the surgery.
He also suggested I may have osteoarthritis. The pain will come with walking, sometimes very quickly and sometimes not much at all. When the pain comes, I have a swelling on the outside of the knee joint about the size of half a golf ball.
This is pain due to nerve irritation and could be sciatica though this travels from thigh to knee, compressive neuropathy due to prolapsed intervertebral disc, nerve compression at the hip joint. It is advisable to undergo an MRI scan spine to check for any disc lesions, bony spurs, spondylolisthesis etc causing compressive radiculopathy. You might need an MRI knee or an arthroscopy of knee to look for any bony spurs etc irritating the nerves.
my doctor said that the MRI didnt show anything wrong with my knee at all. the doctor thought it could be the fatty pad behind my acl wedging between my miniscus and bone, he also told me every thing looked good insided my knee.. after my surgery my simptoms are still the same. they have prescribed all kinds of anti inflamatories and pain killers non of them work at all. the pain is unbearable when i stand or walk for more than 10-15 minutes. the pain reaches a level 10.
i have had this for years my doctor told me it could be the start of artheristis,no scan was done as he said it wouldnt pick that up,and as long as there is no swelling or burning sensation that is what it probably is,hope this helps
After that I was unable to flex my right knee due to pain but I could manage to walk. Upon x ray and MRI scan it was diagnosed as avulsion fracture of posterior cruciate ligament and the fraction bed was 0.1mm. I was applied with POP bandage over the right leg (no surgery done) and advised bed rest. After the treatment period stepping up and down on stair case was difficult for me and slowly felt crepitating noise from the same knee.
This happens due to mal-alignment of the knee cap on bending the knee (and hence any imaging study has to be taken with the knee bent), injury to the knee (you may have sustained it in past), flat feet, over tight or over lax muscles around the knee joint. All these aspects will have to be investigated by your doctor. Other possibilities are bursitis (inflammation of fluid filled sac over joints), tendonitis (inflammation of cords joining muscles to bones) or due to weakness of patellar bone.
My left knee has bothered me off and on for over a year but now is a constant pain, worsening at night or longer periods slightly bent during the day.
When the leg is straightened, instead of the "crease" showing the inner side of the kneecap, there is a HARD knot almost to the bottom, inside area of the kneecap.
The entire knee swells at night, but not lots. Ice and / or heat packs do not take the "lump" down in size but help with the general swelling.
So I recently had an MRI done of my knee. During the exam at certain frequencies my leg would tense up or twitch uncontrollably. The tech told me after the first two scans o was moving and put a little wedge between my knee and a sandbag on my leg. This helped a little but the tensing and twitching continued. I had a copy made immediately and it isn't very clear and is pretty blurry.
