angiogram

Avatar n tn He has been doing very well the last 14 years until the summer of 2007 when he started having problems breathing on minimal exertion accompanied by chest pain and not helped with Nitroglycerin. My Dad's cardiologist did a angiogram in Nov. 2007 and found his EF to be 0.25%. Last week my Dad went to the cardiologist for a follow-up visit and the cardiologist looked at my Dad's chart on his computer and printed out a picture of my Dad's (heart) during his angiogram last Nov.
Avatar f tn I will have these episodes where I have a sharp pain in the back of my head where my head and neck meet and mean while I am completly concious and aware of whats happening but I lose control of my muscles. I still have feeling and they are not rigid but I just can't move any part of my body. These episodes only last between 15-30 seconds and they only happen about every 5-7 months.

Avatar f tn Mild MR, EF 62%. This was followed up by an Angiogram and the report said: Left ventricular angiography reveals normal regional wall motion. The ejection fraction was 70%. the left ventricular end-diastolic pressure was mildly elevated at 17mmhg. there was no gradient on LVAL pullback and no mitral regurgitation was seen with the ventricular angiogram. What does this mean?

Avatar n tn Burning/tingling/numbness/pain in hands can be due to compression of spinal nerves in the neck or due to peripheral neuropathy secondary to diabetes, hypothyroidism, Lyme’s or lupus. Rheumatoid arthritis of the joint, carpal tunnel syndrome, anxiety stress, chemical dermatitis, vitamin B12 or D deficiency etc are the other causes. Treating the cause will help relieve the symptoms. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!

About a week and a half ago while at work he suddenly lost his breath and could not get it back for about 3 or 4 minutes. Avatar n tn First of all I find your post a little confusing. From the Angiogram report, I can see no evidence of a previous MI. Where is the blockage for this? Are you certain it was an MI? and not just severe Angina from the 80% blockage? The Angiogram is very obscure indeed and it would be very difficult to give a personal opinion on this. I'm sure that if this was presented to any other Cardiologist, they would want to see the images before commenting because it lacks important information.

Avatar m tn there is no saccular aneurysm identified (Characterization as aneurysm on prior MR angiogram of the head in September 2016 was likely second to decreased to spatial resolution on MR versus CT). The emergency room doctor only said that mine is thick and do not know size of mm from CTA brain. He suggested that I should see my neurosurgeon to analyze on it. Can anyone tell me what does it means by the report. Thank you. I will have an appointment to see my neurosurgeon on July 24th.

Avatar f tn What is the difference between a CT angiogram and a heart catheritization. Which is better? I had a CTA of the aortic arch and neck. I've been having discomfort for weeks but the CTA was fine. I also have moderate mitral valve regurg which the doctor said does not need repairing. So I am confused as to what test give the best information for blockages,etc....
Avatar f tn Abnormal septal motion is the impairment of the wall (septum) that separates the right and left chambers Trace TR/MR indicates there is some leakage of the noted valves, but trace is considered medically insignificant. You should get a satisfactory answer to why your tests indicates a heart problem and there is no acknowledgement or treatment of said abnormalities.
Avatar n tn With that said, a standard MR Imaging of the neck and lumbar regions of the spine will be precisely targeted for those areas. There are other things factored in when imaging for the fetus. Always inform your prescribing Physician first and then the Imaging Technician if you are pregnant.
