Metoprolol side effects erectile dysfunction

Common Questions and Answers about Metoprolol side effects erectile dysfunction

toprol

Avatar f tn So I'm starting Cialis 5mg a day as needed for erectile dysfunction due to side effects from Metoprolol. I've cut down my dose of Metoprolol to about 37.5mg a day. I have no lack of interest, just my penis goes soft without manual stimulation. If I stroke it, fine, but if I'm having sex, for the last year or so, since I started the meds, it will periodically go soft without constant stroking which is highly annoying. I'm only 33 too. So planning on starting the Cialis later this week.
Avatar f tn You'd have to talk to your doctor or his staff to define your personal situation with using Cialis with your other meds. Besides Metoprolol, Lexapro may or may not have sexual side effects, depending upon the individual.
Avatar n tn a day when it was normally maybe 1 or 2 a month, erectile dysfunction, hands feel cold all the time, when I first take the pill I feel completely cloudy, I get this pressure to my head where I feel like Im gonna pass out atleast once a day. Ive only been on this stuff like 5 days. Personally this does not seem worth it, Id rather deal with the Vtach then deal with this pill.
Avatar m tn Only one real issue with the drugs, which is erectile dysfunction, really weird, but apprantly normal... mind you it's been getting better this last few days off the metoprolol... so I suppose time will tell. Onwards and upwards I say...!!! I'm looking forward to holding my wieght, eating healthy... and thanking my lucky stars !
Avatar n tn Doctor initially suggested Concor ( Bisoprolol ) but my Father who happens to be a surgeon ( urologist ) refused it due to many side effects and erectile dysfunction symptoms. I'm on Nebilet ( 5mg/day ) that doctor said that it should be very effective but it's doing literally nothing. Also my blood pressure goes up to 160/100 when I stand up to take it at the check-up room.
Avatar n tn I am also on antibiotics and the doctor told me that if you have infections that are going on untreated you are more likely to have a rapid heart rate. He wants me to see the cardiologist about the pvc's just to be on the safe side. You are not going crazy, you are just like the rest of us. I am still spending time taking my pulse, afraid to go out because what if they happen really hard?
