I guess that I need to give a metformin testimonial too. After achieving SVR I've been on 2000 mg of metformin per day. I am still SVR. I have PCOS also, and I am currently 20 weeks pregnant. I was put on avandia (similar to metformin), femara (similar to clomid), and a trigger shot to help me ovulate. I also did IUI. But I got pregnant on my second cycle of this combination. This was after trying for 6 years, but only 9 months with a reproductive endocrinologist. So I would suggest that if you do have PCOS, and you aren't currently seeing an RE, to go see one.

this drug is same family as Rosiglitazone (Avandia) which has been foud active on hbsag and hbvdna, question is does TZD lower hbsag since decrease of hbsag inibits cancer growth too and if lowered to und eradicate hbv?

I was referred to a neurologist for my sudden arm weakness. She asked that in my next blood panel, check the B12 level, it should by in the 500 range. I did and it was 0.83! I started a daily high dose B12 supplement and 4 months later it was up to 1407. I backed off to an every-other-day B12 pill and no problems since. Previously I wasn't a vitamin taker. I also had a headache that didn't disappear until after I had eaten. To my surprise the blood glucose level came back as high -- 170.

Also ask your md for samples. I use to work at a doctors office and we got enough samples to open a pharmacy. Another thing, if your job offers a flexible spending account, I find that is nice as well. it reduces your taxes and you can contribute up to 3000 a year to them. good luck.
Yes, i was put on Avandia for Type 2 abt 5 years ago. Since then my #'s have improved with diet and exercise to the point that a new Dr. said she saw no reason for me to be on Avandia and i have since stopped useing it. It was never vy high, around 159 or so when it was diagnosed. If i am not careful of my diet it can jump up to the 130's to 140's. Am also on diovan for HBP which is usually under good control with the 1 med.
Can I take Evening Primrose and Femara together? I'm also taking Avandia. Any thoughts would be great!
