The sore, aching, and rigid muscles on the left seem to be a residual effect of the typically constant muscle spasms and stabbing nerve pain that have remained in the area since the original presentation of my severe chronic pain symptoms back in 2018. Bending too far forward still triggers sharp pain in the center of the lower spine.
Throbbing, aching pain can still be felt radiating from the left hip down the left thigh and to the knee. Said knee is hyper-reflexive.
Hi, I was wondering a few days ago I had light pink blood when I wipe using the restroom off and on for maybe 2 to 3 days along with menstrual like cramps and the cramps have not gone away but every once awhile I had really bad sharp knife like pains that last maybe 30 seconds off and on. The cramps been going on for 5 days, sometimes I feel it all through my private area.
Yes, thats normal. If the pain gets severe or is sharp on one side getting worse and/or bleeding, you need to get to a & e. I get the feint cramping too throughout the day but they dont really compare to period pain...i used to get bad period pain, so i use that as my indicator. Hope you feel better soon.
I no longer feel spasms on the right side, though the sharp, aching pain from the left side radiates over the spine to the right side when the pain is severe.
Currently, as has been the typical presentation felt for the past few years prior to the stellate ganglion injection, the majority of the pain is comprised of an underlying, constant, aching, sharp pain over the entire lower-left quadrant of my back, and muscle spasms cause a stabbing pain in random intervals over the same affected area.
I am 35 weeks tomorrow with baby #1. Been having menstrual like cramps in my lower back and lower belly/pelvic area. It started not last night, but the night before. Occasionally it gets painful and sharp pains spread up towards my belly button. When they aren't the sharp pains that go up higher, it's just a dull ache like the period cramps. But the cramps have been pretty constant for the past hour or so. I know I'm not in labor yet, but could this the beginning signs?

If u start having menstrual like cramps then ur probably beginning labor. It won't be sharp knife stabbing pain at first but the cramps will come and go and get closer together and stronger and lasting longer over the course of a few hours, when they get to about 5mins apart then u might want to go to the hospital. If ur water breaks and u haven't started any menstrual like cramping yet, go to the hospital.. otherwise labor may play out like in first scenario. Goodluck!
I'm 22 weeks and just today started feeling these weird gas pain things very low down, they're kinda sharp like violets kicking but mild(pain wise) and I'm not entirely sure what to think of them any ideas?
How far along are you? Contractions come and go and you can time how far apart they are. Is this pain constant? My belly button area hurt - dull achy pain- for some days and then stopped. I don't know about sharp pain around the belly button though. Go to your doc or to the ER to rule out hernia. Sorry I can't help much.
With my first I had back labor. I was exhausted and all I wanted to do was sleep it off, it was the worst lower back pain with menstrual cramps I didn't know what was going on my doctors office kept asking how far apart my contractions were but I wasn't having contractions. So I went about my day and my water broke later that night!
