Like what is the general time frame after you take you last pill of Provera/Medroxyprogesterone. Also has Metformin and Provera worked for anyone without having the other things as well. Also what do I expect if have to get to the shot phase. I've been on clomid before and it worked for me, but is this something that i should ask for right away or follow the outline that my RE has for me? As always anyhelp is good help, so please help...if you can!
Have you been on Provera (medroxyprogesterone) before? You should get your period 3-14 days after your last pill.
I used Provera, too, for about 3 months until I started going through IUI. My uterine lining was dangerously and also way to too thick since i was not shedding my lining. I was not ov at all. After taking the provera, my lining got back to the correct thickness to support a pg. The second IUI worked.
For me, the first af after starting provera was extremely heavy and accompanied by severe cramping. but thankfully the cramping only lasted a day.

I went to see my gynocologist monday because I had spotting and bleeding since July 28th and ended up in urgent care that previous friday. There are oral (pill form) progestogen medications (e.g. Provera) that are also very effective. IUD's are just a different way of getting the progestogen medication. But the insertion and removal fees can make them expensive plus there are risks you don't have with a pill.

Me and my fiance have been ttc for 3+ years now. I was prescribed medroxyprogesterone 10mg for 10 days. I started taking this medicine on the first of March and had a regular cycle on the 19. Did your doctor prescribe you anything to induce a period? I actually have to take Provera (medroxyprogesterone is another name for it) every month to induce a period or I won't get mine.
