But please remember, you don't have to have those symptoms to have PCOS. I do not have a problem with weird hair growth, satisfy spots, or loss of hair. In the beginning when I started having problems, my periods where even normal. I had leg cramps and they couldn't figure out why. An ultrasound showed cysts.
Avatar f tn 1 Range-0.8-1.5 These test were done when I was on 50 synthroid, was having a lot of hair loss, anxiety, heart palpitation, 5 months no period. He now put me on 88 synthroid heart palpitations a little better, not as much anxiety but now I have been having menstrual for 6 weeks at first I had clotting for 4 days the size of golf balls and now I'm spotting like a leaky faucet? Been on 88 for 4 weeks now. Should I get labs done again? what is going on?
Avatar f tn And how do you handle all the body hair? It grows faster than I can remove it and I don't have the money for permanent solutions. And it only seems to be getting worse. What do you do when you want to put on a bathing suit? Or dress in something a little revealing? I feel like moving to Antarctica so I can cover myself up all the time...

Avatar f tn Your ferritin can drop quickly and with that kind of blood loss you can become anemic. Symptoms are pretty much the same as hypo; hair loss, extreme fatigue, heart palps, etc. Also, I would do an Endometrial Ablation versus a hysterectomy. It's less invasive, an in and out procedure, and you end up with no period or one that requires a pantyliner (if that) for 1-2 days during your cycle. Your OBGYN should be able to do the procedure.

Avatar n tn I have investigated on-line a bit and it seems that hair loss is often a normal occurance when going off the pill. Many sites have indicated that hair growth will return to normal once your hormone level balances out. If you are that worried consult your doctor.
Avatar n tn Hi there I would definitely go to the doctor about this to be examined. Yes the fatigue can be from all the blood loss and possibly low iron.
