Avatar f tn m just confused because I have taken these medicines for over 6 months now and have not had these problems. I just feel the urge to urinate and I have pressure on my pelvis sometimes. Does anyone else have these issues or know ANYTHING. Could I be allergic to something?
Avatar f tn After a thorough medical screening you may benefit from referral to a physical therapist (PT) who specializes in treating women with urinary incontinence, urinary frequency, and other bowel & bladder problems. Urinary frequency with no associated underlying medical issue can frequently be treated with pelvic floor rehab to re-train the communication between the brain and the bladder.

Avatar f tn after about a week or so, the symptoms seemed to go away, except for occasional tingling in the same area. This has been off and on now for the last few months. I went to another clinic and took a sample to check for UTI. They said everything looked good. I have now had aching muscles in my inner thighs that seems to come and go. No lesions or blisters. I posted in the herpes forum and the doctor said it didn't sound like that.

Avatar f tn ) By the fact that you put up with it (I cannot imagine going to a gynecological appointment with my grandma in the room), it sounds like her overwhelming approach has conditioned you not to even think that this is unusual, or else to be passive about her encroachments into your life. But you should not feel guilty or wrong about asking for this, or for going to the clinic by yourself.
Avatar m tn Hi Burning sensation at the tip of the penis can be due to infection in the urinary tract, trauma, or stones in the urinary tract. Other symptoms of UTI include a fever, chills, persistent urge to urinate, passing small amounts of urine frequently, strong smell from urine, presence of blood in urine. You should visit your doctor for a urine examination and evaluation to find out the exact cause and treatment. Take care and do write in if you need more information.

Avatar f tn Hi, I'm not sure if this belongs in this section. I am a 27 year old male and am getting to my wit's end. I've been dealing with many of these problems for a long time now and have seen numerous specialists and had many scans, no formal diagnosis yet. I simply don't know where to turn now and am starting to lose hope out of frustration. I understand that not much can be done over the internet, but I'm simply looking for advice or ideas where to turn next.

Avatar f tn Together, frequent and urgent urination are classic signs of a urinary tract infection. Diabetes, pregnancy, and prostate problems are other common causes of these symptoms. Other causes include: Interstitial cystitis, diuretics, overactive bladder syndrome, or urinary incontinence. It may help to avoid drinking too much before bedtime, especially caffeine or alcohol. If this persists, it would be best to have this evaluated by your doctor. Urinalysis may be done to rule out other causes.

Avatar n tn Another possibility is intestinal obstruction. It can also be cramping prior to periods which is a part of premenstrual tension. Urinary tract infection, urinary bladder infection, gas in gut, severe acidity, Crohn’s, IBS, food allergies etc all cause cramps. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral as a confirmed diagnosis is not possible on net. Take care!
