Avatar f tn I have been having urinary problems the past 3 months. I took 5 different antibiotics for UTI's, i've had a transvaginal ultrasound, pelvic exam, and everything said I was fine. I have been feeling better, but every now and then, I have this tingling feeling in my groin area, and it is very uncomfortable and will last for days, then go away.

Avatar m tn For the past 4 years my husband has had problems while urinating. At first he had burning while urinating. Throughout the years, the burning persists and has increase in frequency and decreased in flow/stream. At times he has spotted blood. Recently he has noticed he has leaked from his anus. The doctors have tried all types of exams and medications and nothing has worked. Any advice would help. Thanks!

1553775 tn?1325182402 I do have a lot of anxiety problems and I wonder if that contributes to it. I also take Paxil for my anxiety and I have been told that can cause high blood pressure. So my questions are: Is hydrochlorothiazide something that can be discontinued later after my blood pressure lowers or is it a drug that is meant to be taken long term? Has anyone had experience with Paxil causing high blood pressure? Thanks.

Avatar m tn Hi, Was this diagnosis of a kidney inflammation given by a physician? What urinary symptoms did she present? Did she present with blood in her urine? How is your friend's blood pressure? Was this monitored? Was her kidney function determined? The presence of a kidney inflammation when associated with hemoptysis ( medical term for coughing blood ) may be due to a Pulmonary Renal Syndrome( PRS). Pulmonary Renal Syndrome is usually caused by several conditions.
Avatar m tn Is there any connection that anyone knows of between gastric problems and urinary problems. My son has both and we are becoming increasingly desperate to find out whether there is a link between the two. It does appear that when he has a urine infection that his gastric probems get worse, but we are getting nowhere trying to find answers other than him having loads of tests and appointments.
641819 tn?1240325930 nature of it and also because I have a ton of other neuro things such as periodic gait problems, issues with nerves (buzzing/tingling/burning), trigeminal neuralgia and other things. I have been diagnosed with fibro (with all the assorted goodies that brings) and have been worked up for MS (negative). Any insight or suggestions on where to go from here? Dr's are baffled with me atm and are taking a wait and see approach, which is all well and good until you pee your pants in a store.
Avatar n tn Im not quite sure about this cocodamol, but alot of medications etc can cause problems with urination, mostly problems like urinary retention - where the bladder can become so extended and needs just an in out catheter to release it, or a subpubic catheter wich is more permanent. Its more likely to effect the elderly more, but i myself have had troubles with meds and urinary retention. Hope i have helped out at all.
Avatar m tn Hi Burning sensation at the tip of the penis can be due to infection in the urinary tract, trauma, or stones in the urinary tract. Other symptoms of UTI include a fever, chills, persistent urge to urinate, passing small amounts of urine frequently, strong smell from urine, presence of blood in urine. You should visit your doctor for a urine examination and evaluation to find out the exact cause and treatment. Take care and do write in if you need more information.
