21064 tn?1309308733 I could really use your help. I am trying to compile a list of common heart medications for one of the Health Pages. So many times someone asks for suggestions, about side effects, etc. It would be great to have a place closeby where we could provide a hyperlink to more information on medications common for heart patients. Will you please help me by letting me know what medication(s) you are currently taking, or what medication(s) you would like to know more about?
Avatar f tn Robitussin and saline nasal spray. Mske sure there is nothing else in there.
Avatar n tn First of all I must know the disorder for which your client is taking Coumadin. What are the other medications that your client is taking? Certain medications interact with Coumadin making more free drug available or lesser drug available. Also certain diseases like kidney problems, diabetes, thyroid problems, congestive hear failure or liver problems interfere with the metabolism of the drug, thus the levels fluctuate.

620048 tn?1358018235 I've known myself to make some mistakes and my mother caught me in one or two when I used to fill her organizers. Here's what I've found helps. I keep a word document on the computer of the meds I take, dosage and at what time(s) of day. Whenever there is a change or addition to the list it is easy to make it clearly on my paper plan. I've let my husband know where to find this list in case a doctor or caregiver needs the information someday.
612876 tn?1355514495 I knew I was having a good day when I got to the pharmacy, all TEN of my rxs were correctly filled and ready when I arrived at the time they'd been promised AND they started ringing up as $0.00, meaning I'd finally hit "catastrophic coverage" for the year (all my pals on Medicare who are on a LOT of meds know what I mean ... oh, lovely, lovely catastrophic coverage). But this really is my lucky day: I'm finding a GOLDMINE of good news online today.

501792 tn?1261111106 Since I have tried many IC treatments and medications. I have tried Installments, a distention and IC mediactions OTC and prescribed. I have always prefered an all natural approach to medicine but my pain has not responded to those options enough to stop taking the narcotic pain meds. I eat as naturally and organically as possible and follow an IC diet. I have SVT which interferes with alot of the options I've tried like Lupron and being able to consitantly use NSAIDS.

Avatar n tn Thank you for your comments. What kind of questions should I ask him? My blood preassure used to only go up when I went into his office. The old white coat syndrome. The cholestrol hasn't gone down but he didn't seem to be concerned at first until the new standards came out. Even off the pravachol for 2 months when my husband was down last year, then going back on it showed no difference. So I do think that the medicine is not working.
Avatar m tn m on multipile medications,MS Contin, percocet, ativan, librium, zocor, and lopressor. My psychiatrist wants to add an anti-depressant and I'm a little nervous as it is about mixing all these meds. Both my Psychiatrist and PCP know what I'm on,but do they really keep track of what could clash? They both see a lot of patients and I just can't see how they keep track. Is anyone on this many meds? And if so,any problems?
Avatar m tn Hi. I would gretly appreciate the advice of a doctor. My aunt who is in her early 80s was recently diagnosed with CTS neuropathy in one hand with no pain. Many weeks ago one of her doctors suspected neuropathy and recommended B complex vitamins but not any particular brand.

Avatar f tn Help with the Cost of Medications for Symptom Management In addition to the disease-modifying medications discussed above, there are many other medications, treatments, and strategies to help manage specific MS symptoms such as bowel and bladder function, spasticity and pain. Symptom management medications make important contributions to keeping people with MS well and active. “Finding Lower-Priced Prescription Drugs” is a useful resource focused on making medications more affordable.
951946 tn?1263565383 cold medications to take during pregnancy. My midwife gave me a list of meds that does include Tylenol, Tylenol Sinus and Tylenol PM, but what I'd like to take is Tylenol Cold/Congestion. (Well, I'd rather not take anything but this miserable head cold is keeping me up all night... if I lie down, my sinuses immediately plug up...) I'm doing all the natural remedies and they are working ok. Vicks Vaporub is amazing!
