Avatar f tn I'm a little confused. Is anyone else losing weight? I'm 11weeks 5days. My weight before pregnancy was 180. 6weeks prego my weight was 168, 8weeks was 161, today i'm at 155. I thought in the beginning it was from morning sickness and being actually sick, but for 3 weeks i haven't had a lot of morning sickness since i started drinking sprite and i haven't been sick. I thought for sure by mid 11 weeks i would have gained at least a pound or two. Am I the only one losing?

I then lost about 10-15 lbs in 1 1/2 months by eating better and drinking more water and using the treadmill (run/walk) 5 (+/-) time a week for about an hour or so (4-5 miles). Just because. I came back to my office job 1 year ago (where a lot of women who like to eat work as well). I was 175 lbs when I came back. Now I weigh 205...

I've been losing weight slowly but steadily for 2 years, however I'm a little concerned. During the actual weeks since estimated conception dates, I've actually lost another 4 lbs. Just some nausea, and dizziness mostly, no vomiting and no huge changes in appetite or lifestyle. Anyone familiar with this?

I have noticed that I have had an achy feeling in my upper, left arm it is not constant nor is it unbearable. Im kinda overly concerned with my heart! I dont have any chest pain or anything to that nature.

142722 tn?1281533616 s eating/drinking so much and not gaining, or losing weight, I would ask for a blood glucose test. A simple finger stick test in the doctor's office would tell you what his blood sugar is at that time. Since he's not drinking as much during the day, it just may be a phase he's going through. But I would ask for the blood test, just to ease your mind.

Avatar m tn Your ideal weight should be calculated, based on your age, height and bone structure, not just some arbitrary figure that you think would be good for you. So your first step would be to figure out where you should be, then decide how to get there. Are you getting any exercise to go along with calorie counting? I agree that if you have easy access to junk/processed foods, it's much better to be prepared and take your own food.

Cuz it's not healthy for me to stay in this weight while I'll gain 12kg more while pregnancy. Nothing hard or hurtful, walking is hard here since I'm in saudi Arabia and the heat reach 40c. Avatar m tn I was wondering if any of the prescriptions I take, may be making it harder for me to lose weight? In fact i've gained about 45lbs since last year. This year some of my prescriptions have changed. I am now taking 60 mg of Paxil last year it was 40 mg. I am taking lisinopril and diclofenac and 50 more mg of atenolol. I believe I am getting about the same amount of exersise as I was last year if not more. Thank you.

Avatar f tn I cannot exercise a whole lot do to a medical condition where I suffer from daily headaches and pressure in my head. Losing weight will actually help this condition. Besides my overall health, this is why it is so important that I lose weight. I have lost weight in the past, but always seem to gain it back. I think that I was not eating enough calories. i was staying at about 1000 a day. I lost 70 pounds, but gained it all back plus a lot more.
Avatar f tn Hello there, It would be really dangerous to you to lose that much weight, ie 15 lbs in 2 weeks. A good amount of weight is about 2 lbs per week. The middle of August is about 4 weeks away. Even in 4 weeks, unless you go on what I would call a drastic diet or a starvation diet which would probably put your body in shock, you can't lose 15 lbs in a healthy way. Some people might think that if you drastically reduce your calorie intake, the weight will just fall off you. This is not true.
Avatar n tn Okay 2 months ago I went to my doctor in hopes of her being able to help me losing weight(previously to this I had started exercising more and eating healthier and I was not losing any weight) she requested that I get bloodwork done before she prescribed me anything. Dr. office says regular results should not be higher than 5.5 but I came back at a 6. something so she put me on synthroid .25 mg. and was told I needed to return in 2 months for more bloodwork!
Avatar f tn Its good you've set a goal and are looking to find out how to achieve it! However losing 15 pounds in a month is unrealistic and unhealthy. Did you know it takes about a year for your body to adjust to losing 10 pounds? It's important to remember weight loss is a marathon and not a sprint. In order to lose weight and keep it off, you shouldn't look at it as weight loss but a way to become healthier!

The now weight of 175 lbs. is a loss of 17 lbs. in less than 3 weeks after leaving the hospital. Funny thing is, my appetite is ravenous, my blood tests all came beck fine last week, as well as still cleared of Hep C. My energy level is normal I've heard somewhere that because muscle weighs, it has to be taken into consideration when weighing someone.
