Make sure that you are getting the proper nutrients, protein, vitamins as well as a balance exercise routine. Losing weight in moderation is always a great strategy. I have helped one of my friends lose 25lbs. over the past 3 months, without exercising by simply taking a healthy nutrition shake, that also taste good.

I haven't encountered any exercise equipment that sends an electrical pulse, but be wary of any scale or electronic device that measures percent body fat as these send a weak electrical current through you body. When going to the gym do high reps low weight and do the workouts fast without any breaks Lower your carb intake and caloric intake Increase the amount of protein you take in and go running often. There's a difference between training hard and over training your body is made in the kitchen . Lastly a rolles Royce takes 6 months to make and a Toyota takes 13 hours.
Avatar m tn When I was going to college, I took a workout class that was actually ROTCs pt class. The group encouragement was amazing!! Try looking into group classes offered by your gym or get a friend with similar goals. The buddy system is such a motivatior. Good luck!

Avatar f tn i have been back in the gym as of january this year and i go to the gym for an hour a day 4x a week. the reason i stopped taking zoloft was due to heavy research and testimonials i found on womens accounts basically sharing stories that mirror my own. they are taking antidepressants and antianxiety meds, and they have ALL gained 30+ lbs. i have found in my research that these meds are the reason we have gained so much weight.

I have been cutting back in the portions. I just need a friend and motivation. All during high school I was by myself, due to the fact that everyone judged me. You are 15, so there is a good chance that part of your weight gain is contributed by the fact that your body is in it's peak growing time. One of the reasons I am going to the gym is also to reduce the mass concentrated on my tummy. My questions are: #1) Should I consume high calorie food ( fats and carbs) rather than focussing solely on protein intake now?
Avatar n tn t come off afterwards, I have tried evertything, diets, pills, everything otc, even went to weight loss clinics, nothing worked, I recently started going to the gym over the summer, everyday for and hour, but nothing, no weight no loss. Within the last month I have lost 21lbs total. I guess my question is why? I did stop worrying about it, but I still eat the same, I didn't change anything, and I'm still losing, my pcp or GYn don't know why?
Avatar f tn I would recommend you add a weight lifting portion to your workouts and change up your cardio... the stair climber is the BEST machine for cardio in my opinion. Does your gym have classes? I would also recommend doing one or a couple in addition to your regular work outs. Muscle confusion is proven sucessfull in aiding people to lose weight. If you do the same thing everytime you are not challenging yourself.

I am actually going to go to the doctor today to ask if maybe the dose is too high since i have lost all the wieght. Sometimes when i get up i get dizzy and have to sit right back down or i feel like i will pass out. Not that i want to gain all that weight back because it feels good to get it off. But i think i need some back there is nothing left to me.
