I was on Loestrin birth control for about 8 years but I stop taking it in December so I thought it would take my body a long time to adjust back to a normal period but I had a period that lasted 10 days in January. Am I pregnant or could it be something else?

Im six days late for my period. Im on the birth control LoEstrin and my boyfriend and I use condoms so I didnt think I was pregnant. I took a test two days ago to be sure and it came out negative. Is there another reason that Im so late? Is it okay to be this late even on birth control? Could I actually be pregnant and the test was just a false negative?

Hi. I used to take Loestrin 24. I had the real kind. But my period started early also. When I stopped taking them my period was very late (by 2 months). All of this is because your body has to adjust to the hormones in the pill.

I had some weird symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness and discharge from late September to late October but not so much anymore. Is it normal to miss your period for that long after starting birth control or specifically lo loestrin fe?

Give her time to heal from the surgery and give Loestrin time to work. When Loestrin is used continuously to stop your period that is how pain is stopped.

I'm on loestrin birthcontrol pills. For the past year and a half I've always gotten my period on a wednesday morning. Also before pills I always had a regular period. I've never been late before. Last month I was really behind on my pills and now I'm 2 weeks late. I have nausea but I'm not throwing up in fear my parents will suspent my little problem. I have really tender nipples. Hello I started Loestrin 24Fe on March 9, 2008 the Sunday after my period started, but since I have not had a menstrual cycle and I am freaking out! I hear all of this stories regarding blood clogs in your brain because of no menstrual cycles with the pills, is this true?? I've also noticed that my sexual drive has decreased a bit and I've been a bit moody but not as bad as other's I guess!! I am also getting a lot of headaches....

yeah... I was taking this for about 6 months and had the same problem. except I had lots of breakthrough bleeding... except for the 5th month. I wish I knew why.. it scared me so I switched birth control and am now having worse problems with it...

Hello, I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?

s no question/concern. This month my period was due on Friday (last active pill taken Tuesday, period arrives late Thursday/early Friday) normally I have some cramps and feel gross. My first two days I feel like death, then it slowly lightens and ends Wednesday or Thursday the following week. This month Thursday was a normal day no cramps or anything. Has anyone ever switched from Loestrin 24 to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo? Anybody ever gotten pregnant while on the "lo estrogen" pills? I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????

The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack. However, I just finished my placebo pills (inactive pills) for the month and I have not gotten my period.

Thank you for your reply. I've been to see a doctor and I've been doing a pregnancy test every few days, one of which was sent to a lab to be done. My period is now 2 weeks late so I've been advised to carry on doing pregnancy tests every few days. I've stopped stressing about it now though. I'm just trying to put it out of my mind to eliminate stress causing the delay. Thank you!

My period wasnt even late. Went to planned parenthood they told me i was not pregnant. Then I got a blood test and I am pregnant. First Response was more accurate than the clinic.
