loestrin light period

Hello, I've been on birth control since I was 15 (now 23) for ovarian cysts. About a year ago I switched pills from Loestrin 24 fe to Lo Loestrin 24 fe. Within the year I think I've had 2 periods (only lasting a day or so) and a few days of very light spotting. I do know this pill is the lowest dose of hormones you can have with a birth control pill. Is this normal?

I started Lo Loestrin Fe oral birth control pill on January 14, 2014 after being off of it since Thanksgiving of 2013. Previously I had constant break-though bleeding (more like a period- for even 2 and a half weeks) and cramps. I switched to Microgestin and that made me so sick I stopped, and then restarted Lo Loestrin Fe. I have taken it everyday and have never missed a pill.

The first month that I was on Lo Loestrin I got my period, very short and very light for about 2-3 days. This month I delayed my period by a week because I was going on vacation. So when it got to the placebo pill I just took a week of "active pills" from another pack. However, I just finished my placebo pills (inactive pills) for the month and I have not gotten my period.

Give her time to heal from the surgery and give Loestrin time to work. When Loestrin is used continuously to stop your period that is how pain is stopped.

My last period I spotted 3 days before my period and my period was very light and short. Now I have been spotting 10 days before my scheduled period August 13. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex July 31st and August 2nd and after August 2nd is when the light brown spotting started. Could I be pregnant or is it just normal spotting??

ve had no bleeding expect a light period when it was due and the other symptoms have all improved. I have also.noticed that my sexual drive is well alive - not so much when I was taking Yasmine. Will keep you updated.

I have never missed a pill, but I guess I could just be being paranoid. Loestrin gives me VERY VERY light periods anyway, and I've heard that even skipping a period on Loestrin is normal. I have taken my first inactive pill today so I guess I just need to wait it out instead of jumping the gun with paranoia. Thanks so much for your reply!

My gf had not been on birth control for a year or more. She began taking Lo Loestrin Fe on Oct. 20, the first day of her period. The side effects (increased acne, severe anxiety and depression, emotional lability) were so severe for her that she decided to stop before the pack was done. I believe she took roughly 2 weeks and a few days of the pack (maybe 3 weeks total), then quit them because she was so miserable.

Ok so I'm on loestrin. I'm religious when it comes to taking my pull on time. I have an alarm on my phone set for 12:15. I take my pill between 12-12:30. But it's always within that half hour spread. I've been on this BCP since November last year, and was previously on tri-cyclen lo but changed because I was NOT happy with it. Was as religious with taking it as well. Here's no question/concern.

I have been on Lo Loestrin Fe birth control from about 4 months now. The first month I got my period on schedule and experienced no side effects. The second month I had breakthrough bleeding for about 2 weeks in the middle of the month, but no period on the placebo pills. The second month I had light brown spotting the 2nd week but again no period. Should I be concerned?

About two weeks to a week ago, in the middle of the package of pills, I had a week of brown discharge. It was light and light brown at first, but it got darker, heavier, and lasted a week. There was some blood too. Now it's time for my period to start. It should have started yesterday, but it hasn't. I'm on the four brown pills and mine has always started on the first one. I know I still have three more brown pills to take before I start my new package.

Hi! For the last two months, my period has been on time but instead of lasting 3-4 days, it has only been for 1-2. It's also very light, I almost never have to use a tampon. But it's concerning because I don't think anything is coming out. I'm getting my usual cramps and such but today (which should be my third day) I have translucent pink discharge instead of my period.

Hi. I used to take Loestrin 24. I had the real kind. But my period started early also. When I stopped taking them my period was very late (by 2 months). All of this is because your body has to adjust to the hormones in the pill.

Im six days late for my period. Im on the birth control LoEstrin and my boyfriend and I use condoms so I didnt think I was pregnant. I took a test two days ago to be sure and it came out negative. Hi! I'm traveling across the country to see my boyfriend this weekend, after not having seen him for two whole months. We're in a long distance relationship and we usually only get to see each other once a month for a few days at a time. Needless to say, this is a really special occasion for us! Unfortunately, my period is expected to arrive anywhere from Sunday through Tuesday, threatening to put a damper on some uh, plans!

Has anyone ever switched from Loestrin 24 to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo? Anybody ever gotten pregnant while on the "lo estrogen" pills? I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????
