Anyway, the ketoconazole seemed to get rid of everything in about 2 days (hydrocortisone made it worse, so I stopped using it), but I continued to use lamisil after the pills to make sure. After 3 weeks and still using lamisil, it started to flare up again. So what do I do? Any thoughts? I have been very diligent about treating this but with no luck. I have stopped using everything except powder thinking maybe I was just irritating it, but three days and it is still there.

I had unprotected oral sex with a person 2 days ago where i was receiving. I woke up 5 hours later to a rash of small red bumps on the head of my penis and inside my foreskin. Have you taken a lot of anti-fungal medication and if so what types? Also have you taken antibiotics before you got C-diff?
I assume since you are taking probiotics because you know that getting your intestinal bacteria out of whack can promote getting C. diff.
Immediately I started applying Lamisil (terbinafine) every morning till today. All the redness and everything else is gone, but if I look at the skin from the side, I can still see the "circles" (in slightly different skin tone) where the fungi was located... does it mean that I'll have to keep on applying the cream for longer till I don't see those circles?
Oral medication such as terbinfine (brand names are Lamisil and Terbinex) are supposed to be effective. These are pills you take and not a cream like you've been using. It spread to the finger next to it. Doctor put me on lamisil tablets 250 mg. I have been on the medication for 11 days and it does not appear to be helping. As I understand Lamisil is an antifungal cream. If you do not have a fungal problem, the Lamisil is not going to be doing anything.
