had sex with my fiance last night (thursday) and then realized I missed those two pills so took them and my usual pill for that night (3 pills total). I realize I probably should not have done this and today I feel bloated and almost nauseous and out of it.
Anyway, on my pack it says to continue to take my pills and restart a pack Sunday (I'm a Sunday starter). Is this enough or should I take the 'morning after' pill also.
I was orginally on Depo-Provera for 1 1/2 years (never had a period), switched to Seasonale (major nausea), then switched to Tri-Sprintec (my chest got huge on this pill), and then to Kariva (was great!). I was on Kariva for 10 months. I never took the placebo week, so I never had a 'period'. However, if and when I missed a pill or took it a little late, I always had spotting for a day or two.
I am on Kariva birth control. I missed 2 or 3 pills the week that i had sex. We used protection everytime except penetration once for like 30 but he did not ejaculate. I took plan b (the one pill version) between th 48 and 72 hour mark. It has been 2 weeks since and my period has been a couple days late and very very light (dark brown). I know that the plan b causes disruptions in menstrating and so does missing pills but id like to lnow if im just overly paranoid.
For the last eight months I have been going through a lot of life changes. I graduated college, searched for a job, moved back in with my parents for four months, started a new & highly stressful job in which i work 60-70 hours per week, and decided to buy a house with my boyfriend of five years. Recently I developed a Strep Infection/Ear Infection which caused the Doctor's to put me on a Z-Pack. This was back in October (Oct. 27th to be exact).
Anyway, I have now almost finished my first sheet and I am up to the White suger pills which bring on your period, but the thing is I have now had my period for over two weeks (the whole time I have been taking the pill) and I am worried as to why? I had sex a week before I went on the pill but I don't think I'm pregnant? I need so advice please.
but I am unsure if I am considered to have missed 2 pills cos I really only missed 1, as the second one was just a few hours late??
So today I am puzzled if i should been taking 2 or not. And then i feelin this twingy feeling below my stomach and was freaking that it was sumhow implantation in the womb starting. Any ideas about if have one missed pill and the next one a few hours late means 2 missed pills or just 1?
I'm on microgestin 21 1-20 pack, I missed 4 pills in my first week, how do I take them now? Im a Sunday starter.
I realized this on Sunday night and took 2 pills and then took two pills the following day on Monday. I had sex the Tuesday before I missed and the Sunday I realized I missed... Before I had sex that same Sunday though I noticed I was bleeding really lightly just like two drops I guess... Not much at all... Would I be bleeding because I missed the pills or because I am pregnant from sex the Tuesday before?

right basically i have a question. I'm taking the combined pill which is now called ovranette and was called microgynon 30 before. I had sickness and diarrhoea and was very ill over 1 night (so I missed 1 pill for sure). The following night I missed another simply because I was ill and didn't remember. In the afternoon of the following day I took the missed pill and carried on with the others as normal. My boyfriend and I used condoms from the night of being ill onwards.
Are you speaking of missing your birth control pills? If you missed the 'inert' pills you take during cycle there isn't anything to be worried about, they have zero effect. If you mean the 'active' hormone pills you will need to use a back up form of birth control for a while. If you think there is a chance of being pregnant please make sure to do a home pregnancy test the day your new cycle is due or a few days later.
orthotrycyclinn made me have two cycles a month but every pill they gave me did that instead of makeing my periouds lighter it made me have more and heavier ones, plus i lost a lot of weight on birth control i was on kariva, low loesestrin fe, abri, orthottycyclin, and two other ones all of them did the same thing they helped witht he cramps but i had more cycles than i was suppposed to.
ve been on Mircette (a.k.a Kariva). Before I started Mircette I stopped my pills about 3 days before I was supposed to right before I was to start my cycle. Anyway, long story short, with this pill all I've had are bad gas and gas pains, some cramping but other than that I don't feel like I'm on bcp. Well yesterday I was supposed to have my period but when I thought it was here, I had mucus like cm and then some pinkish brownish discharge with it.
In Aug 2007 I started taking Kariva 28 day and stayed on it until Aug 2009. A few months before this, I began having issues with my cycle. I wasn’t getting my period, I got my period early plus the full week I was supposed to, and then I was spotting several days a month. I then found out I had Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and started treatment hoping that would help. I didn't. I went on Portia 28 for 5 months, Junel 1.5 30 tab for 3 months and now I’m on Junel 1/20.

Did you have a missed miscarriage? I took cytotec for my missed miscarriage. No side affects. Took about 1 1/2 weeks. My doctor started me with a low dosage first, then increased it. I'm sorry for your loss.
I would take the pills, they know what they are doing. Are they giving you something to jump start your cycle?
ve been on birth control for a month and a half and been sexually active for about 3 or 4 weeks. I missed a pill last tuesday but kept taking the pills the next days. I had sex on that friday and we stopped before he ejaculated. That same night I got my period and it has lasted until today basically although I still have some spotting. I'm not supposed to get my period until next wednesday or thursday when I start the white pills. Is there something wrong?
I missed 7 days (all of white active pills).. I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for almost 4 yrs now and lately I've debating on wanting another child and been lazy on taking my pills (probably cause I intend to want to get preggy) Anyway,July 12 was my 1st day of my last period and I never take the green/reminder pills which are the 7 pills of the pack.. Supposed to start a new pack on the 15 of July but didn't take any til this past Sunday July 21st..
