jaw-pain

Avatar m tn Any jaw pain? Left arm pain ? Neck pain? Those are other signs for a heart attack... I know this sounds funny but it sounds like gastritis/indigestion:) He could try to take a prilosec ... or other heartburn indigestion medication :) good luck!
Avatar n tn Heart attack symptoms are different for women and men, and not at all what you see in TV shows. I thought I had indigestion with my first blockage, but I went to the ER because besides the burning ache I had in my chest I also felt like I had an elephant sitting on my chest. If it hadn't been for that I would have continued to shrug it off as indigestion. I had pain in my upper back between my shoulder blades with these chest pains, too.
Avatar f tn I do have a lot of indigestion and have lost 45 pounds.I just worry bout the jaw pain and sweating have resorted to xanax to deal with it!!! it's ruining my life...if you think of anything else please let me know and I'll c my GI again.
Avatar n tn Recently I had a stent put into a branch and it was close to the main artery and the Dr said the plaque shifted. He ballooned the main artery and I felt fine. After a few days of being fine I had a sudden onset of chest pressure and jaw pain and it was relieved with 2 nitroglycerin. I've noticed chest pressure since then sometimes with jaw pain, sometimes without and burning at times under my sternum.
Avatar n tn tightness in my chest (like indigestion, or like my bra was too tight); slight pain in my neck/jaw, on the right side; pain in my left bicep/arm. I was driving to work, so I didn't pull over. That was around 8am this morning. The pain in my neck/jaw and arm have gone away, but the tightness in my chest comes and goes. I just started this job, last week, which is why I continued driving to work, this morning, but now I'm concerned. Was I having a mini-heart attack?
Avatar f tn ve had 3 attacks of chest pain ,it starts under my right ribs and spreads to my sternum up into my throat ,my jaw and teeth and through to my back from the sternum and spreads under my ribs in my back .
Avatar f tn With NHS, I have no idea. I'd start with the primary care doc in any case since that's the person who has to deal with things like referrals. If the symptoms include left arm and jaw pain, go immediately to the ER. While it's not impossible for a 38-year-old to have a heart attack, that is not as likely as in an older person. A possible culprit is severe gastro esophogeal acid reflux (GERD), which can easily mimic the symptoms of heart attack and cause debillitating pain.
Avatar n tn Pain in this area always alerts a physician to first check the Gallbladder. The Gallbladder also refers pain to the right shoulder. If the shoulder and jaw pain was on the LEFT side of the body, the heart and cardiovascular system should be evaluated and clinical correlation is required. Other less likely considerations would be accute myocardial infarction, gas, indigestion, intercostal neuritis, and diverticulitis.
Avatar f tn This can cause pain in whole of head and neck region. Glands in neck and temporal bone pain can be due to this. I would suggest you consult a dentist and an ENT specialist soon. Maybe your PVP can arrange it. If there is no problem in the teeth and ear, then there is a chance that you have compression of cervical spinal nerves due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc.
Avatar n tn Then it felt like I had eaten way to much of a Thanksgiving meal. There was pain in my lower jaw on both sides. Did I have a heart attack? I had a similar episode a few months back.
Avatar m tn I'm 50 years old and I recently participated in a cardiac study that provided CT/ MRI/ Nuclear Stress tests, echocardiagrams etc... I was told I had 'significant' CAD by my internist. Through the test I discovered that I had an MI on the surface of the heart that didn't penetrate the muscle." I've felt nothing I would describe as pain in the center of my chest, left arm, jaw or back.
Avatar m tn lately I have been having random episodes of heart racing and discomfort. I have had panic attacks and indigestion in the past and know its not either. This is now happening once a day or more. It cab either start with a squeeze/flutter or start with pain. Either way the result is the same. An irregular heartbeat that can either be my normal (60-70bpm) rest rate or very fast with adrenaline surges.
Avatar f tn Because they haven’t found anything on the tests they keep dismissing my alarming symptoms as anxiety, stress or indigestion when my symptoms are more serious than that. For the last 3 years I’ve experienced chronic chest pain which comes & goes that radiates into my left arm, jaw, back, stomach and occasionally it travels into my right arm. I sometimes experience intense nausea, shortness of breath, dizziness, tunnel vision, arm numbness, fatigue and heart palpitations.
1553173 tn?1358434089 Could be any number of things...indigestion, muscle pull, cramp; but anxiety can cause some degree of chest pain but I'm not sure that it would cause a lot of pain. It's worth getting checked out just to be on the safe side.
Avatar f tn I feel your pain. Im on nexium that i take daily. I can't take tums or rolaids cuz it causes kidney stones for me. I have had non stop acid reflux since Thursday. Nothing works. Doesn't matter what i eat. Water makes it one hundred times worse. I swear my poor esophagus has holes burnt thru it and my throat. Ugh i can almost breathe fire. Its miserable. The medicine used to work but now it doesn't. Can't wait for baby girl to come.
Avatar n tn I went to the doctors earlier and they were pretty useless. Just gave me peptac for indigestion. I've suffered from indigestion for 10 years so I know it's not that.
Avatar f tn Yeah, pain in my back especially. And it hurts to walk a bit. I've been sitting cross-legged with my knees up to my.chest to try and relieve some of the pressure. I drink water like a fish, so I know its not dehydration/: I actually just downed two bottles of water to try and make me pee Lol. I don't have an official OB right now. I just moved, I'm changing insurance and all of that good stuff, so I don't have it conpletely figured out yet.
Avatar f tn I have been suffering with bad indigestion now for 4-5 months the pain is so bad sometimes im doubled over, doctor has tried me on different tablets none seem to work. When it starts i also get a bad pain in the centre of the bottom of my ribcage. I have just had an endoscopy with normal results biopsies have been taken. I have also lost over a stone in weight although this started before the indigestion problems did. Anybody have similar problems or maybe know what could be causing it?
1152782 tn?1451101426 Okay. I think I have indigestion...HELP. I'm so uncomfortable. I didn't eat anything too fast or whatever. I did wake up a little excited/nervous/tired. I couldn't fall asleep last night because the house was too hot, then woke up promptly at 5am. I ate a couple crackers to stave off nausea so I could get to the gym and drank water. I was immediately sick to my stomach with diahrea, did spin class, was sick again after that and barely made it home before I had to go again.
Avatar n tn You have to learn to relax and decrease your anxiety, because **news alert** anxiety makes pain WORSE and its a vicious cycle!!! (here I am axious about surgery on my jaw (my jaw has the worst pain) and I can't sleep, everything makes it worse, I'm emotional and moody, and I get more nervous... but the more nervous I get the more I get pain. I hope you are able to pull your pain by the horns and can go on with your day and live your life.
