Not sure if I should be worried. Should I get checked or leave it n see if it gets worse. I don't want to pull my bf or mam from work for nothing. The pain is mainly on my right side. I don't no if its labour pains cause on my 1st my waters broke 1st n then had strong pains. These are just mild and constant.
Avatar f tn I am experiencing extreme pain 2 inches on the right from my naval and a constant dull aching pain in my flanks in the back in the sides non-stop today would be the 4th day of all this going on... everyone saying I should be at the ER but I am terrified of hospitals.
Avatar f tn Or gall bladder see dr
Avatar m tn Hello, the pain could be due to IBS. But this is usually generalized pain. If you are getting right sided pain, it could be due to appendicitis, that’s when you have pain on the right side just above the pelvis and you may also have referred pain around the umbilicus (belly button). The pain in appendicitis generally starts around the umbilicus and moves to the lower right quadrant of the abdomen. The other symptoms for Appendicitis are fever, nausea, vomiting and malaise.
Avatar n tn i have been having constant sharp pains in the right side lower right side of stomach hurts to walk , stand up straight, hurts to breath or cough, even laying down what could this be?
Avatar m tn Well, the pain is sort of back and it has been for a couple of days. The pain is not constant nor severe. It really is kind of a pressure-type pain for a couple of seconds and then dissipates. It is mostly just to the right of my naval and straight down (pretty much in the pubic region, and doesn't seem to be directly over my appendix). I also have pain on my right side, about even with my naval - just six-eight inches to the right.
Avatar f tn I HAVE SEEN A UROLOGIST WHO DOES NOT FEEL THIS IS A UROLOGICAL PROBLEM... THE PAIN IN MY ABDOMEN IS CONSTANT, IT WILL GO FROM SORENESS THROUGHOUT THE ABDOMEN TO THESE SHARP SHOOTING PAINS WHERE I BELIEVE MY APPENDIX IS... ALL TEST, INDICATE THAT MY DOCTORS CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG, YET I FEEL I AM FAILING ON A RAPID BASIS... I HAVE VERY LITTLE ENERGY, AND FIND MYSELF LYING IN BED MORE THAN BEING OUT OF BED...
9497408 tn?1404140019 ve been taking the medication and now the constipation is gone, but the pain is still there, and getting worse. The pain is mostly on my right lower abdomen, and when I put pressure on it and release it, it get's worse. I did some ultrasound and they couldn't find anything that was wrong with me. I also have constant nausea and vomiting and have recently been starting to lose weight (people around me have notice it). I have a fever that comes and goes, but that isn't always there.
5154898 tn?1374773319 OK, I've been worried sick since about 4 days ago. It all started when i had a muscle spasm beside my belly button (right side), it lasted a whole day. I woke up the next day with a dull pain in the same spot, nothing really painful, just enough to worry me. Now, my lower front (right side), my right side and back on the right side has been aching.
Avatar n tn So for the past 8 hours I have had a constant severe abdominal pain to the point if I get up or move it hurt so badly I can't even go to sleep what should I do
Avatar m tn Abdominal pain) The pain may be minor at first, but it becomes more sharp and severe. Your appetite will be reduced and you may have nausea, vomiting, and a low fever. As the swelling in the appendix increases, the pain tends to move into your right lower abdomen. It focuses right above the appendix at a place called McBurney's point. This most often occurs 12 to 24 hours after the illness starts.
Avatar m tn Been dizzy and tired a lot. No rebound pain like appendicitis. But it does hurt to press on. Should I go to ER? I don't have insurance. My OBGYN wants to be paid up front for an ultra sound and I can't afford it. What could it be and what should I do? I'm 30 yrs old with a 2 1/2 yr old and a 5 month old. Miserable and tired of hurting. Also, my periods bleed more but don't hurt any worse.
552053 tn?1273331741 My ex husband had the same thing that would come and go for a couple of years and then it became a constant pain that started to intensify. He finally gave up and went to the ER and was diagnosed with appendicitis - his appendix actually ended up bursting as they were removing it. Before that happened, I had no idea you could have what is considered "chronic" appendicitis, but his doctors said yes, it's actually more common than you would think.
1193880 tn?1264886865 MRIs are not adequate for appendicitis. The white count in appendicitis is generally high. You also get a fever, but appendicitis can start near the belly button then move to the right lower side. I think you should get her to a specialist and or get her to a doctor who will take her blood counts and possibly a CAT scan because it is dangerous if it bursts.
Avatar f tn This morning I woke up with a pain in my lower right abdomen. Its a constant dull pain, about a 4 or 5 on the 1-10 scale. The main pain is about directly 2-3inches to the left of my ASIS. It feels a little bit better when I'm sitting up instead of laying down. I have been going to the bathroom alot more than normal, but the stool is pretty normal, not diarhea.
Avatar n tn My 16 year old daughter was awakened yesterday with severe abdominal pain on her left side and nausea. She rated it a "10" and she is usually pretty pain tolerant. She continued to report pain levels at about an "8" or "9" despite being administered pain meds through her IV at the ER. The pain was worse when she coughed or if pressure was applied to the area. However if pressure was applied then released it was more painful after the release.
Avatar f tn The pain feels like it is deep in my stomach and it is constant, I am very bloated and burp all the time. It is worse during the morning and night. I have no appetite because I feel so full all the time. It is almost as if there is a huge brick in my stomach. I have been trying to eat as much as I can everyday and when I do eat, it seems like the pain lightens up during a meal. However, a couple of hours before I eat and even a couple of hours after the pain becomes more intense.
Avatar n tn On the one hand, if you've got the flu, you're sick and will be sick until you aren't sick anymore. On the other, if you're concerned, a doctor would be much more valuable to you than us. If it were appendicitis, I'd think the pain would be a whole lot more than what you're describing, but if you really think you ever do have that go directly to a doctor, not to a website.
Avatar n tn I'm not an expert on all this. I just wanted you to know you are not alone. Maybe someone with answers will come along to help you. I have had kidney stones, though. That doesn't sound to me like what you are describing. Mine was constant pain until I passed them. I haven't had appendicitis. Don't know symptoms of that. I have had ovarian cysts but my paiin was not so intense as labor pains.
Avatar m tn Your thinking of acute appendicitis. There is no cat scans, x-rays, or any other test that will definately say that the pain is related to "Chronic Appendicitis". Just knowledge of the disease and symptoms. I do know for fact this information and I have been trying to get the word out there that this disease is real and how to recognize it in the future. Thank you.
Avatar m tn She said cysts usually appear and/or rupture 2 weeks prior to period. Could this be the cause of abdominal pain? Is it strange that a 12 yr old would have a cyst when her period is due? I'm just confused and wanting to help her get out of pain. Thanks for advice!
Avatar f tn and was told cyst becasue I told them I had one on my 1st visit with ob so given an ultrasould and you can see some growth like sticking out went to ob 3 days later they listen to heartbeat and said cyst was on other side but since I wasnt in pain ok everything is good stay regular everyday and drink lots of water. The pain has been here for 5 days now I can bearly walk. I have noticed Im constipated and everytime this happens the day before I pee 13 to 15 times any help out there.
