I enjoy traveling in hot conditions, some days can be up to 39 degrees. Can my blood pressure medication stand such heat if I was to say just put it in my wallet? I'm always traveling to different places and don't always have access to a fridge or ice to take on hand. If not, are there any other heat resistance BP medication i can try?
Your father has occluded coronary vessels (ischemia) and apparently high blood pressure being treated with irbesartan and lasix is a diuretic. Clopidogrel is an anti-platelet medication to prevent clots.
The reduced ejection fraction of 16% may be causing fluid buildup in the lungs and peripherals (arms and legs). I had an EF below 29% and was diagnosed with congested heart faiure...congestion was due to fluids in the lungs.
Can you please advise if I am taking high blood pressure medication (irbesartan) and Altorvastatin for high cholesteron and I am also taking Tamoxafin for breast cancer (about to come off this drug), is it adviseable to take Leptin Cocoa for health weight loss or would this affect the medications?
I am on 37 week of TDF+Peg+NTZ and also taking Amlodipine 5mg for my blood pressure. Do you think I can change to irbesartan? When I change to irbesartan, should I start with 150mg or 300mg right away??
I am Hbeag negative and with this tx my Hbsag is going down very very slowly; before tx,around 3000iu and after 6 months 2600iu. Before tx, my fibroscan result was about 4.5 kpa and after 7 months of tx it was 6 kpa. I don't want this number goes any higher. Thanks.
Hi, My doctor has diagnosed a mild calcification of the aortic valve and mild to moderate aortic regurgitation. I also have mild hypertension which is controlled with Irbesartan. I'm 50 and don't seem to have any symptoms but what can I expect and what can I do to improve my condition.
My right knee has some slight swelling and is painfully difficult to walk on without a prescription of Ibuprofen (600mg). I also have high blood pressure of 170/100 and I am also taking Irbesartan (300mg).
The doctor says i have atharitis and (wear and tear) on my right knee, and also suffer from bouts of sciatica.
I have had blood tests and my kidnees and my liver are fine aswell as is my cholesteral. X-rays on my knee have also shown that I have worn knees (wear and tear).

Fourteen months ago the aneurism was measured at 5.2cm, when I was prescribed to go onto blood pressure medication and lipids medications to help reduce the pressure in the artery. Three months ago, I had further scans (echocardiograph) to be told that the aneurism had shrunk back to 4.8cm. Surely, as the aneurism really couldn't "shrink" on its own due to tissue damage, one of the tests taken 11 months apart must be wrong.
put me on lowest dose of Losartan and I got joint pain in my thumbs and then in a knee so I weaned myself off but my BP was very high (systolic) during visit. He puts me on Irbesartan, SAME class of drug, then goes on VACATION. It's the smallest dose and I took a corner of a pill yesterday, no pill today, BP is fine, I'm in PAIN. My thumbs hurt, my right foot and left knee, I don't feel well and then I read that all of this are side effects of this drug.
I am a male 70 years of age. I have been on 150mg Irbesartan and 5mg Amlodipine daily since October 2010. This controlled by BP within acceptable limits. Since late April, however, the systolic has risen to an average of around 150. My doctor wants me to add a beta blocker to the other medications. Since last October my heart rate was averaging below 60. Since late April it is averaging around 70.
I dont know what it is but I have had episodes like you describe. It feels like my heart is quivering for a few seconds and it scares me.
I do suffer from both PVCS and PACS. I also get episodes of SVT and if I remember correctly NSVT was once caught on a holter monitor many years ago when I was around your age. I am 37 now.

I went for an MRI of my breast and found out that over the past four years my aortic root has dilated from 3.3 in 2005 to 3.7 in 2009. The biggest jump from 2008-2009 3.4 to 3.7cm. Does this mean I have an aneurysm? I don't have any of the risk factors. I am not overweight, have low blood pressure, never smoked, don't drink over 1 glass of wine. So what is the risks and what is the prognosis?
Everything was good except my blood pressure was high for the first time. They told me not to worry and im not. But just wondering how likely it could be that id get pre eclampsia. I only have three weeks to go so thought i was safe from that. Lol. What should i look out for or do till my next appointment?
The benefits of BP meds could outweigh any risks of high blood pressure. I know that I will have to take BP meds when im pregnant. You should really consult your physician to see if this applies in your case. Aldomet is a BP med that is considered safe in pregnancy. I was on BP meds when I miscarried but had nothing to do with it. BP can be a serious problem in pregnancy and should not be ignored.
I'll be 37 weeks any my blood pressure keeps going up it was 136/82 at the hospital and today when i checked it at home it is 145/92 the hospital told me to have it checked at the doctor tomorrow, anyone else had this happened to them ? If so what did the doctor do?
I had legit pregnancy hypertension and it was that high during birth so that after, I had a blood pressure cuff that took my pressure every 2 hours for 24 hours. (THAT was a pain as it wakes you up as it squeezes your arm). Just talk to your doctor Paige next visit or even call in before if you are worried.
I went 2 my gyne due 2 Pain nd when I came bck he prescribed me Adalat XL 30 mg dnt knw if I'm developing high blood pressure or what??? Who else had that does it mean im going 2 develop preeclampsia?
