Please help me out with any advice for my cat, Lady. She is about 8 months old. My first cat (my first personal cat. Had cats growing up). I am not extremely up on all the possible issues that cats encounter but I'm not naive either. I don't ignore my gut telling me that something is just off.
So, my dilemma is that my cat is acting different ... but I haven't seen any change in certain signs they say to look for.

She had them next door and then moved them to our yard. She seemed to be an indoor cat at one time (that will be another question separate). Anyway, we let them live in the basement. The kittens are starting to get used to coming around us a little. They are not older than 7 weeks probably.
Hi, I have a question regarding cat scan of abdomen and pelvis with contrast... I realize that the ultimate test for stomach and esophagus is the gastroscopy or barium x-rays.
But what will a cat scan of abdomen and pelvis with contrast show? If there is a tumor in the stomach or esophagus, will it show up on cat scan as at least "something" there like a shadow or will it show up clearly?
I delayed on getting her fixed, and when I was going to take her she went into her heat. Out of 3 males that I have only 1 isnt fixed because he's so ill that putting him under to get him neutered would have him killed. Thats how sick he is. The fact that you are itching like crazy at work is a sign that you are allergic to cats. Now, you may want to talk to the cat lady about your uncomfortable situation. So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. Find a veterinary surgeon in your area who can place a peg tube directly into your cats stomach, so that he can be tube fed. Have that vet take blood to do a test for Bartonellosis. Whose cat was it? Was it an indoor cat or an outdoor cat? Did you know the cat? The reason I ask is because if you did not know the cat and or see the cat leaving the feces (in the event that it was an outdoor cat) it might not have been cat feces at all, but raccoon feces or some other wild animal. If this happened indoors or if you know the cat, there's not really anything to worry about. Dogs LOVE browsing through cat boxes, they think they're in a deli!
my 4 yr old male cat has recently caught a cold. he seems to be doing alright, he has been drinking and eating still. not like he normally does,but he does. The thing is is that I had been treating him for ear infections for the last two weeks. after the treatment was over he started sneezing. I called the vet to follow up on that treatment and told her about his cold. The vet told me that it could be an respriatoy infection.
Owner decided to give the cat away, has gone to a loving home of a lady who had lost her cat 5 months before. The cat was fine at first, after 1 month he pooped on her bed and again the next month; does anyone know why this cat would continue to do this even after he was taken out of the home he wasn't happy in.
