Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
Watching this channel freaks me out but this episode of a lady trying to take another women's baby while still pregnant the ****.
and will see what we can do. Yes it is sad. We also separated other cats. We are not cat hoarders, just to be clear. We are now just going to foster a mama cat and her kittens. She had them next door and then moved them to our yard. She seemed to be an indoor cat at one time (that will be another question separate). Anyway, we let them live in the basement. The kittens are starting to get used to coming around us a little. They are not older than 7 weeks probably.
s parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months. They haven't seen us in a couple months...
I was watching tv it was a cat food commercial the cat and owner lived in the country so the cat played outside a lot but then they moved to the city and it couldn't go out anymore :( it showed a picture of the poor kitty staring out the window wanting to go out and I started bawling my eyes out! Like seriously sobbing! I looked over at my sister and she was looking at me like a crazy lady and i started laughing hysterically while i couldn't stop crying i kept it up for about 5 minutes!
Please help me out with any advice for my cat, Lady. She is about 8 months old. My first cat (my first personal cat. Had cats growing up). I am not extremely up on all the possible issues that cats encounter but I'm not naive either. I don't ignore my gut telling me that something is just off.
So, my dilemma is that my cat is acting different ... but I haven't seen any change in certain signs they say to look for.

they dont tell you that nor the people watching I think they give a rather distorted view of just how sick someone gets when they kick the show is a fasid....not my cup of tea if your going to show it then show just how sick people get and stay sick noone is well in 4 days as there show depicts just my 2 cents..........
