why does a pregnancy have to make us such cry babies!! im watching all the CSI Miami episodes and i just watched the episode where Speed was killed (he was a CSI member) and now im like in tears!!! he was soooo awesome!!

This lack of stability is called Cranio-Spinal Instability(CSI). In CSI, the bones in the neck are able to move out of their proper positions, tissues can sag down out of place, and spinal fluid flow may be impaired. The bone and tissue movement is often noticeable only when an individual with CSI is in an upright position and the bones and tissue return to their normal positions when the individual returns to a horizontal position. In severe cases, CSI may be accompanied by cranial settling.

Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

Order. CSI of course!

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

Have you ever seen an episode of CSI? Usually material can be transferred from one surface to another. Factors will influence the ease of and amount transferred. I think it wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor or a psychotherapist.

I figured all here would appriciate this! My husband came home from school yesterday and told me about a conversaton between him and a fellow student in his class. The student is a Massage Therapist and was tell ing him about how he saw the CSI episode with the Chiari. He didn't know anything about it and decided to research it after seeing the episode. I thought to myself...WOO HOO! Even if it just sparked one persons interest....maybe there is more.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

I like CSI Miami, except for the lead guy (red-head), what is the deal with him? Is he just a really bad actor? I want to slap him.

As I mentioned in another thread, I finally got to see the CSI episode on Chiari and I noticed that they mentioned that the victim had been taking MAO Inhibitors which had played a role in his death. I have had a few different anti-depressants over the year so it peaked my interest and I set out to find out why...I was amazed by what I found. Monoamine oxidase is an enzyme that eats up monoamine (one of the 3 neurotransmitters in the brain).

I've been a technical adviser to 'CSI Miami' and 'Bones" TV series but this is among the more gruesome questions I've been asked. If enough force was applied the optic nerve can be avulsed from the body. Unfortunately I've seen that in my career after blunt trauma to the face/orbit such as automobile accidents, chain saws, broken cables. The nerve would probably tear at the apex of the orbit or the base of the brain (chiasm).

But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.

I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!

I became obsessed with the lines and very frustrated...I felt like a CSI detective analyzing whether they were as dark as the control, darker the day before, etc. Good luck...I heard of ones that had smiley faces instead of the lines...I haven't found them BUT I'd give those a try...hopefully someone else will post and have more encouraging words than me! Sorry but I share your 'confusion'.

We got it from the little red headed scientist cartoon dexters laboratory, but everyone who ive told so far has assumed its from that new show Dexter about the csi sereal killer guy... I know I shouldnt let others people sway my opinion but still I dont want people to think my kids named after a killer...

Ok, just have to let you all know something funny... My PCPs name is Dr. House! LOL! And he is the first one to really fight for me! He's AWESOME!

i read somewhere that they usually last for 20 minutes and yeah, they come in waves, some of them stronger than others and you are doing what we are supposed to be doing.. staying busy, watching some Law and Order or CSI chapter ;) , going for a walk, reading....that is, we don't feed the craving...

No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?

Yeahhh me too!!! It's almost midnight thirty and I'm up watching CSI thinking about some strawberry cheesecake icecream from marble slab.

I'm on bed rest..i'm 25 been on it since 19 Weeks..I watch CSI ALL DAY..n reading helps me alot..I have always worked n note to depend on my husband *****..

I loove CSi, vegas, I am the same all the good ones are leaving, Laurence Fishbourne, may be ok. You know why I liked them? they all looked normal, like they could be that, Hope they don't make it super models.
