There is a thread on **** that the tv show House is doing an episode about Chiari. They have been working with someone with Chiari to write the episode which should air on May 5th. The person has said they will keep up posted if the episode date moves. This is very exciting.

I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!

im watching all the CSI Miami episodes and i just watched the episode where Speed was killed (he was a CSI member) and now im like in tears!!! he was soooo awesome!!

Wanted me to watch the episode. I was confused because there was so little mentioned of the condition. It centered around the man being gay. I was really stymied. I was hoping to be more informed, to see something, some of what you all go through. It's important to me. It's important to my friend. :-) I was not happy with what was not portrayed. They should re-do the episode and do it accurately. After all, the show centers around medical disorders.

Have you ever seen an episode of CSI? Usually material can be transferred from one surface to another. Factors will influence the ease of and amount transferred. I think it wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor or a psychotherapist.

I saw an interview with the red head on CSI Miami awhile back. Said he doesnt like the full face shots so he wanted to be different. He got that right. I also like the shows Deadliest Jobs?? Especially the crab boats on the Berring Sea. Nauty....was it Alfred Hitchcock you were thinking of??

We currently live in a 2br apt, but we applied for a 4br house and this past Monday we got the call of being approved. I'm so excited and thankful. When we go into public some random strangers comment on my weight or age, like last week when we were house hunting the lady that showed us the house said "Wow you're so young to have 4 kids." My husband said oh no, their my little brothers then these two little ones are our kids.

I have had a few different anti-depressants over the year so it peaked my interest and I set out to find out why...I was amazed by what I found. Monoamine oxidase is an enzyme that eats up monoamine (one of the 3 neurotransmitters in the brain).

t be so sure your kids are safe. There a different types of hoarders. It could be alot of simple junk or it can be dirty decomposition of food and animals. How can you be sure? I would put my foot down and say simple. If you child are to be allowed over then I need to see the home for myself. End of story.

Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

I totally agree with @mommylece and @heavenlyhash, I would do that not so much now to get rid of it but to see has reaction of what is more important- his child on the way or memories of other women. IMO...

U r so right this episode of HOUSE was so unrealistic....but it may have a few people asking what is chiari.......the gay aspect may...I mean will confuse many, so we have our work cut out for us. Have u been checked for other related issues?....like Hashimoto's....a syrinx, tethered cord? And do u know if u have perm nerve damage? So happy to have u join our little family here, sorry teh reason u had to seek us out.

m so grateful to have been a part of the episode and thankful to the HOUSE team. The cast and crew are all amazing, down to earth and caring people who want to use the power of TV to not just entertain, but shine light on these diseases. I had a great time in LA at Fox Studios with my best friend.

I heard there was going to be an upcoming episode on House that deals with Chiari. Someone posted it on my Facebook . Just thought i would let everyone know.

Don't know if any of you keep up with the show House, but I just watched the last episode of season 5 and OMG!!! I can't wait for season 6!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm basically on bed rest for the next week or two til my little babe decides to come, and all I have to do here at home is watch Netflix! Our cable is out for right now :/ so! Hi, I often have an episode of concern. The symptoms start with my whole body experianicing a cold sweat, but not actually sweating. Then I become very weak and light headed. Finally, My whole body starts to shake with a slight feeling of numbness. The episode reminds me a little like having gas at the dentist before passing out. I cannot function at all and it feels as though I'm fighting to remain conscious.

He is the reason I *hate* that version of CSI. He says the dumbest things (I call him Captain Obvious), looks at the camera, then throws on his stupid glasses. Yeah, yech. TrisiaS: That's so ironic. I had the best doctor every who was about 5 years younger than me (got him right out of med school). I always called him Doogie. He looked just like the character too.
