Omg that's horrible! Not right at all to have any kid in that environment. I have OCD when it comes to cleaning lol and can't relax if there's a dish in the sink. Id die before I lived with dead rats and would NEVER expose a child to that. I understand some of those people on the show have problems, but when a kids involved you need to get your act togehter. Just my opinion.

The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air. OSHA has limits of something like 25 ppm for people working in industry, apparently over that amount of ammonia in the air is bad for the lungs. As they were talking, the meter went over 25, then over 40, then over 60, then I think it stopped in the 70s or 80s.

s at work take all that stuff and their it out! If he has a problem say well my son and our baby need a freaking room and they come first before these 2 other womens useless things! That's what I'd do!

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

I had morning sickness out the wahoo til 15 weeks and now I am 31+6 and there are days that I get a lot done and other days just chasing after my 20month old seems to be the only thing I get accomplished lol it may not be nice but I make the hubs help out!

I am posting not to brag or gloat but to show many that there IS light at the end of the tunnel and that anyone suffering from Graves Disease and Hyperthyroidism can get back on the right road. She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

Tell yourself that you are going to load the dishwasher and then take a break and do something you enjoy. After you do that,unload the dishwasher and then take another break. Then put a load of clothes in the wash. Take it in small increments rather than looking at the big picture. Just work through it a little bit at a time. Also, I have found that action breeds motivation. Those little steps really do add up. Also, even just getting out of the house and walking around the block helps.

I was wondering if this is still true. Have they improved whatever the problem was or could folks who have before and after experience with it share thier review of Armour?

About 2 months ago I also experienced horrible headaches and left eye blur. I had the ct scan, the mri with contrast dye and 2 weeks ago had a pet scan. I have something, but its really unknown what it is. A tumor is what the dr. is calling it. I had pre-op tests takes this afternoon for my surgery scheduled for Sept 9th 2008. I am having a crainotomy but I am very unaware of what will happen before, during and after the surgery. It measures about the size and shape of a half flattened egg.

Well I stop taking the pill for a week after my period and I noticed that the cramping went away after n before we had sex. And now am back on the pill ( because I dont wanna risk it and get pregnant) and the pain is back....what can it be?

After my last post I have been taking my bs readings before dinner and 2 hours after dinner, they been running in the 80s to mid 90s before and 130 to 140 after. I think this seems in target range, but today before dinner it was 86 and 2 hours later it was 210, never this high before. I did have a nice helping of whole wheat noodles with spag sauce and a small slice of bread. Was it the meal. SOULD i be concerned with this one high reading, are these #s good enough to stay off the meds.

Also, when they put the canula in my groin I could feel everything, I had been given a local but it never worked and the pain was excruciating and I was told to lie still and calm down. Also, a nurse put a needle into my arm for the anaesthetic but put it in the side of my arm and not the obvious vein in the crease and when they administered the sedation it ran down my arm and they had to do it over again and so I was aware of everything. No one seemed to care.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and both before and after food I feel incredibly nauseous. Is there anything I can do to make eating easier or reduce the nausea?

I feel soo bad. They did nothing wrong, they seem to care, it seems... this is my 2nd pregnancy. But after all my experience after giving birth to my son and how they were to me, I just don't feel the support and love I thought i'd receive. They are not monsters just i don't feel genuine care or love. Everytime I see them I want to run away, since I got pregnant I dislike being with them or seeing them. Yes it can be. I know someone who has ocd and goes to a support group and they had a specific meeting about this. For ocd, besides medication and talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy can be very helpful as well especially for issues such as hoarding objects.
