Hi, I stand corrected. Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
Before this pregnancy I used to keep a very very clean house. Like, show room model home clean. And literally I swear the day of conception the lazy a s s switch turned on because i can't think of anything less enticing than sweeping or picking up. Anyone else experienced this? I need to figure something out because I used to be so tidy and I'm only in my 1 trimester and if it keeps going in like this I'm gonna be on the next episode of hoarders!
So my husband has lived in our house for 15 year and has had two women live here before me! They left all their stuff here underwear beds clothes shoes and I don't want to go through their clothes I just want to throw them I. A dumpster or burn them Andy husband is insulting me bc he wants me to go through wash and sell this **** that is rotting away!!
No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?
I moved into his house after helping my mother out for a couple of years. His house looked like something out of a hoarders episode. The filth and clutter was so overwhelming that the first day I spent cleaning I ended up with Bronchitis and Pharyngitis from the damp and mold since he did not properly heat the house. After 2 months we finally made it inhabitible, but not clean by any means.
To this day the majority of my belongings reside in my mother's house.
Anyone ever let their dog (we have 5, so namely the Alpha) hang out inside your house during the birth? I am only 20+6 but I'm thinking ahead. I wonder if letting my alpha female hang out inside will help the other dogsbe okay with baby... You know? Since how she feels kind of determines how the others feel/react.
We have 3 indoor dogs, and 2 outdoor dogs (dont worry, we have acreage, we're not just dog hoarders... Lol people just dump em out here and three are rescues...
She lost her job mid house hunt. So my fiance and I agreed to let her move in with us. We found a house in the middle. It has 3 bedrooms a basement and a 3rd floor. We gave her 2 bedrooms and the basement as hers as well as full access to the house [everything but our room] the agreement was she would pay half the rent and 1/3rd the utility. [Even if you think that's to much in rent remember this is what she wanted send agreed to]
So fast forward and we're all living together.
I left my house key in the key hole and locked the door behind me over night! I couldn't help but laugh in the morning when my husband discovered it when he headed out for work that morning. What are some of your crazy forgetful times??
So I recentlyoved in with my mom in pace Florida any who we woke up to our air unit being broke today and no one can fix it till tomorrow morning: ( it has been above 90° all day I have taken multiple Luke cold showers all day today and I still sweating I hate it so far and my hubby is worried Imma over heat while sleeping tonight cause right now in the house is 88° I'm 29 weeks and me being this hot got NY tummy all messed up.
My in laws live 45 min to an hour away and have been to our house twice. My parents and family have helped us out more than anything with purchasing the nursery furniture and anything else we need and his parents got us 2 outfits but could afford a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle....
I feel absolutely horrible. My newborn (1 month old on saturday) was sound asleep in his car seat with it un buckled and was sitting on top of a stand in my room that is maybe a 1 ft tall or less. I turned around to get something and when I turned back around his car seat was rolling off and he was rolling out. I ran to him and grabbbed him out. He was screaming and screaming and then stopped after holding him tight and bouncing him for a minute or so. I'm so disappointed in myself.
we have a responsibility to these babies (planned or not) to stay as stress free as possible..my house is a MESS and I have ZERO energy to clean up..the babys room still isn't done we don't have anything ready..this is the time when you have to take any help and support you can get..husband, bf, family, friends..
For years she has had problems keeping anything clean, as in nobody will ride in their vehicles because of the mess, no room for passengers, discarded fast food wrapers. Today I was in her house and I was completey disgusted by what I saw. It's a 3 bedroom house that hadn't been cleaned in years, I couldn't find the floor, it was covered in dirty clothes and garbage that should have been thrown away.
So my mother in law (which I don't get along with) thought it was a good idea to take a whole week off work this week. I go in tonight n im glad she wants to help but I do not want her at my house with my first newborn child with us. I want to have family time. The baby isn't even goin to be a week old and she already wants to bombard us. Am I wrong for feeling like this?
