Common Questions and Answers about Hoarders possum in the house

hoarders

Avatar f tn ve swatted it out the front door twice, it ran and we lost it in the house a couple of other times, and there were other nights I know it came in but we didn't see it bc my dogs bowl would be empty in the morning and she picks at her food so it usually takes her ab 2 days to empty a bowl, not one night. This has been going on for like 2 weeks at least.
Avatar f tn He put the cat on Valium and that has been somewhat helpful (only in the daytime) keeps the poor thing from pacing up and down the street screaming all day. Okay, to my point. He is now dragging in a baby possum just about every night. This is the tiniest little possum I have ever seen. maybe 3-4 inches inches long and soooooo cute...:-))~~~ !. Any ideas what I can do with this possum?.....can i re-locate something that small? 2. Is this cat really mentally ill or just lonely.
3828469 tn?1358462325 A lot if times Cps is called. Thank goodness. I like to watch it cause it gets my hubby cleaning lol. I hate clutter it makes it not relaxing in my home. I'm glad I have a little ocd when it comes to 'stuff' being everywhere. The Christmas cards on my fire mantel have to go soon making me crazy ???!!
Avatar f tn I wouldn't let my kids be in a situation like that. It's dangerous. Who knows what they would get into or find in the piles of stuff. My in laws are borderline hoarders and I'm not ok with my kids over at their house without me or my husband.
Avatar f tn As they were talking, the meter went over 25, then over 40, then over 60, then I think it stopped in the 70s or 80s. And the people were all standing and talking in the room, so it is not like they would automatically keel over or anything. But the vet explained that the body is less able to get enough oxygen into the bloodstream when it is breathing this much ammonia.
662972 tn?1270166301 I'd turn her in as well...you can't go over there and clean up that stuff..the police/fire need to call in pros with the white suits and oxygen or gas masks or something..clean the place up (throw EVERYTHING in i a big dumpster...maybe even the husband) and I'd consider either tearing the house down or burning it. who knows what diseases are lurking in there, and I can't help but think of those poor dogs and cats and what their lives must be like..
Avatar f tn Teko, this is the strangest most lonely cat in the world. It will bring live birds in and is so funny to watch him carry in this possum like his own......lol. Well, I guess we will find out in the next day or two. I would be amazed if the mother would come up and grab him out of the box like that. I hate to think anything else.....like coyote........oiy.!! I will make sure to keep him next time and snap some pic's of him.........sooooo cute.....
Avatar f tn I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Avatar f tn I know how you feel my bf is just like that I have him things to throw away he kept it in the car we couldn't put our groceries in the car so is in the car and house now ugh I cry everytime I see it... I had my mom take some stuff to the dumpster and told him we were cleaning and he should have been here if he didn't want it to be in the garbage.
Avatar f tn Salt, Pepper, garlic, a little ground cumino and a big stock pot, should be just about right for two small possum. If not in the mood for soup, then wrap in black pepper bacon, grill until bacon is done, remove from grill, unwrap and eat bacon, discard possum. enjoy!
Avatar f tn No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?
Avatar f tn The house is never clean. They are hoarders I swear. The 17 month old had batteries in his mouth one day. They let them run into the other room and say, 'he will be fine' then wonder why he gets into stuff. I've tried explaining to hubby but he gets angry at me and says I'm over reacting and they're fine. I am soo pissed right now.
Avatar f tn The problem is about EXPECTATIONS!! We expect too much from our in laws at the time of pregnancy. We want them to care us like our mother n father but we have to remember they are our in laws not our real parents. Our parents gave so much love to us so we expect same from others. I used to feel same when I am still 35 weeks pregnant but now I am used to it and expect less from my MIL..
662972 tn?1270166301 She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.
Avatar f tn My 9 year old Black Lab, Scooter, has not slept at night a few times in his life, but it's always been a full moon. I am home with him all day and we spend a bit of time out back (3/4th's acre) just exploring or he'll play with the puppy. He is fine during the day. If his hips seem to be bothering him, I give him Tramadol but that's not very often.
Avatar f tn okay so my contractions still are not persistent but it does feel as though they are getting more intense....! last night I know I had to wake up about 3 or 4 times because of contractions and I know it's the real thing and not bh because it starts in my stomach my stomach gets tight then it goes around to my back... any ladies have any comments ideas suggestions I'm just ready to get this baby girl out of me and it seems as if she's playing possum help!!!
1507968 tn?1327800570 Then put a load of clothes in the wash. Take it in small increments rather than looking at the big picture. Just work through it a little bit at a time. Also, I have found that action breeds motivation. Those little steps really do add up. Also, even just getting out of the house and walking around the block helps. You don't have to do a mile, and you don't have to jog or race walk. It will take time. You will notice that each day gets a little better.
420469 tn?1217647363 I can relate to how hard it is to plant anything but I am not putting in a garden this year...only some flowers in a planter that we built behind the house a few years ago. Anyway, gotta run and take Mom shopping for a birthday cake for the nephew...he is 14 today...yes I am getting old but my brother is getting older! ha ha ha ha So glad to hear that Spaz is ok and that the dr. got everything fixed up for her...what a fiasco that was and I was sooo worried about her! I hope that her dr.
Avatar n tn Aww congratulations. Beautiful name.
Avatar f tn We have asked her multiple times to go out side to smoke and she agrees for that one day then starts right back up in the house. If we got a humidifier for up here could that help us any? We only have 11 days before my c section that's not enough time to find some where knew to stay.
Avatar f tn you need to tell ur husband to get a lock box and lock the pills in it and hide the key or maybe keep them at his parent shouse or a trusted friends house that lives nearby so that there wont be a lot in the house.
458090 tn?1256321162 I too am off to the dr's for bloodwork and u/s. Hoping to trigger tonight. Can't wait to see what my "super- ovaries" have done the past 2 days. From the feel of it we must have a zillion follies in there. ^_^ Will post update once I get the info.
Avatar f tn Just remind them that you ask had agreed to not smoke in the house. And since baby is almost here, you want a smile free house for the baby. And if they could start getting used to that.
Avatar n tn My parents dogs (who i have seen and played with since she was a pup) is now 2 years old and still the moment i walk in the house she crawls up to me and rolls on her back, on my feet..... for 2 years now!!! she is not like this with ANYONE else... even my parent's neighbor who is 6'7 and.... probably about 300lbs... she bounds up to him no problem... but me.... watch out.
1563533 tn?1345366296 I would really love to have alot of plants in the house but Im afraid my sweet curious cats will eat it and get sick, I have two indoor cats and I havent been about to have plants in the house before they always eat them, how can I keep them out of it!
