Avatar n tn I have a 5 yr old kindergartener. She is bright, intelligent, and for the most part well behaved at home. The problem is at school she throws tanrums and goes berserk. She didn't do it in preschool nor does she do it at home. The teacher telling her to do something she doesn't want to to a child cuting in front of her in line will set her off.
Avatar m tn m sure you under a lot of pressure and stress. Maybe you could go to the school clinic and speak to a doctor there? I know a lot of colleges offer support in the way of free counseling and support groups, maybe one of those? I agree with Rich that taking time to just stop and do some relaxation is quite important.
Avatar n tn I am ateacher and I have known some cases of children who behave well at home and not good in school. These children are in the category of gifted and talented. But please do not take this comment and use it as an excuse that everything is fine for the behaviour. You should research this by talking to his teacher. There are also lots of sights and checklists you can use since you said he is bright. It is very serious though to run away from school as this puts his safety at risk.
Avatar f tn I have students at this school she worked at. I get that her episode at school was not ideal. And kids safety comes first. But also feel bad for my friend who works hard to keep her mental health issues under control. Such an unfortunate situation.

I'm pleased thus far with the changes.
Avatar n tn Try talking to him to see why he gets so angry sometimes. Perhaps he is having trouble with someone at school or even at home. Maybe he is doing something he shouldn't and the guilt is playing out in anger. Of course I am not a Dr. so please seek help from them for him.
Avatar n tn restroom- now as a group- all children were to have teacher monitors at group restroom times stand in the hallway maybe 4 boys dismissed at once from the line and their adult presence "just outside" was helpful but we all know children's bladders are not on a perfect schedule and have to go intermittently though the day- "emergencies" without an adult.

Avatar f tn I was in need of some information in regards to what the best method would be for cleansing my hepatic ducts and a detox in general. I respected this Instructor and felt that I could come to her about these things. She is an Instructor but, also a nurse practitioner. She had been very informative in the past. I was focussing on getting healthier and she really seemed like the right person to go to. So I told her that I have hep C and that I'd like to detox or cleanse my liver and body.
1967803 tn?1325679473 ve been trying to figure out what to do about health insurance. My neurologist and I were discussing Betaseron and gawking at the out-of-pocket cost. Luckily he was nice enough to waive the fee for my next visit, but we haven't figured out a solution for the medication. He told me to come back when I got insurance so I could get a proper diagnosis and a prescription. Does Medicaid cover Betaseron?
Avatar m tn Join a group at school, take up a rec sport, get involved with band at school, whatever.
