Avatar f tn I was reading some old forums about leg weakness and I thought thank heavens I found other people who are having the same problem I am. I have anxiety and panic attacks for quite some time. Lately I thought I had been doing better. I thought finally I am thru this nightmare. As soon as one things gets settled, another thing comes up. About a month ago I started getting this weird weakness in my knees and calves like I read someone else did.
Avatar f tn do you have anxiety big time? Do you dread social situations? These are 2 big caracteristics of an Aspie. Anyway, here is a test you can do: http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php This is of course not a medical diagnosis, but is often quite accurate. Try to do this quiz honestly.
Avatar f tn My daughter is in kindergarten and loves it. She is very social and is friends with everyone in her class. She loves her teachers but never speaks to them. If asked a question in a group setting or in a one on one with one of her teachers she refuses to speak. If something is bothering her, she will not approach any adult for help. If I send her to school with something to give her teacher, she won't do it. He grades are suffering because she won't answer questions by her teacher.
Avatar m tn If you are gay, your gay thoughts will be associated with pleasure rather than with fear (although you might experience anxiety about the social repercussions of “coming out”). If you have homosexual OCD, what-if questions about sexuality are ultimately unanswerable in the way that OCD demands they be answered. In my South Florida (Palm Beach County) psychological practice, people seeking HOCD treatment are preoccupied with attempts to know the unknowable.
Avatar m tn Having strategies in place to help manage stress and anxiety could be helpful. I would suggest you seek advice from your doctor and a counsellor. There is also the option of going to the police if you have concerns for anyones safety.

I don't suggest this but, I used to use cigarettes as a type of motivation to focus and get work done. I quit smoking so now I just give myself a pat on the back. Maybe you could use some type of reward system for good behavior. Something I wish I would have worked on when I was younger was goals and motivating factors.
Avatar f tn 5 night that I was prescribed 2 years ago for flights (you do not want to be on a plane going through turbulence with me) and the night I wrote my initial post I took one of those with an Ambien to get to sleep. If I feel the anxiety coming on I take half a pill now and it works fine. I also picked up my last dose of ultram which my PCP gave me to wean from and have been taking one in the morning since that's the worst time and I'm good with half a pill later in the day if I need it.

Avatar m tn When I goggled this it was somewhat connected to chronic fatigue syndrome which she doesn't have. She does have anxiety and there is a family history of anxiety. Also, her grandfather has restless legs syndrome and Parkinson's. I have slight restless legs syndrome. She went to an eye doctor who looked at her like she was speaking a foreign language then ignored it. Her neurologist didn't have any idea what it was and suggested she google it and she found all of your comments.
Avatar n tn The fact that your ectopics have been visualized and deemed benign should be extremely reassuring. If it isn't, then you have a different issue, which is anxiety. I understand where you are coming from, as I spent years worrying myself (literally) sick over benign ectopic heartbeats. Sometimes I can go months with none, other times I am having several a minute including other atrial arrhythmias like SVT. Ectopic beats are not deadly in a structurally normal heart. Even a lot of them.
Avatar n tn after going through my primary doctor and an endocrinologist, i think maybe i have a severe food allergy somewhere.

Avatar n tn I go to a private school and get high grades, I get alot of things I want, I'm quiet and very shy, I'm not popular and don't have lots of friends nor am I a social person. I have low self-eestem and no one notices it, my "friends" that I have tends to leave me out often, they ignore me, or wonder off without me and I don't think they notice they do that. I hate what I see in the mirror, I despise how I look.
Avatar n tn Porn and Anxiety have crippled my sex drive / erections for life. I am 31 years old. I began watching my fathers porn tapes and using magazines to masturbate before I could achieve ejaculation. I have never told anyone that before. My addiction took on all new levels with the beginning of the internet in the late 90's. Even when I stop for a few weeks I still cannot maintain an erection or achieve a Full one. I don't even have morning wood.
Avatar n tn Then, this irregular beating in my chest scares me and causes anxiety, then the viscous cycle repeats. The anxiety causes more chest pain, more gas, and more discomfort. I have been trying everything to treat myself. Changed my diet (was drinking lots of soda and taking NSAID pain relievers every day) for the most part, but due to my work schedule I do eat too much fast food to this day. I drink nothing but water now, I have been watching everything I do.
Avatar n tn I'd been having some constipation as well as weight loss (a lot of which is due to poor eating habits from the severe anxiety that's been accompanying this). Dr.also put me back on Augmentin again for 2 weeks, and when I expressed further concern about the tetanus, a one week course of Keflex (I am basically a walking anti-biotic: could this be killing good bacteria and causing more harm than good?
Avatar f tn I've never actually gambled in AC. I'm not too good at it, but at this rate I'll be able to enjoy the free drinks while gaming. You know how the teachers and the cops have their conventions in AC every year? We could have our own little medhelp convention.
162948 tn?1205256292 mood swings (would cry over everything and nothing), acne (bad), hair loss(slight, but enough to notice-a brush full every other time i brush hair),the feeling that everyone hates me(i guess that would be anxiety)...and the list goes on and on. Most of these have cleared up in the 3 weeks it has been out. Although i have had several early pregnancy symptoms i am not gonna do the hpt until after i should miss a period...
