Avatar f tn she needs to have cooling to her hands and feet during the chemo, stay clear away from any heated material, loose clothes, hot food, tepid showers, go to the Doxil site and read their info on hand and foot syndrome there they give you the answers.

Avatar n tn I recently moved from Minneapolis MN to Denver CO. Since the move I have found that I am tired more often than not, my energy level has dropped significantly, and although I continue to have an emotional feeling of well being and happiness (other than how the "laziness" makes me feel), I also feel a lack of motivation. I have considered that this could be an emotional response, but this move has been a really fantastic thing for me and was not hard for me to do.
Avatar n tn old granddaughter has asthma and is planning on flying with her mother from Boise,Id. to Denver, Co. the middle of May? Is flying something to be concerned about along with the high altitude in Denver?
Avatar f tn ve learned that my body is becoming immune to my single dosage of vicodin once per month. This past Monday I was found in shock on the bathroom at my job by a co worker. The humiliation I felt was nothing compared to the pain, but I have run out of ideas and apparently so have the doctors. I don't know how this is going to play out as it seems to be progressing.
Avatar f tn Any ftm in Denver???
5628119 tn?1373461207 I am a ftm and am so excited, if a bit nervous. My husband and I moved to CO two years ago and I am away from my family and don't have a lot of close friends. It will definitely be a challenge and I hope I will rise to the challenge. Not really a question but thought I would share.
Avatar m tn Have you tried calling Shared Solutions? They helped me out tremendously and credited my bank card $2000 with their co-pay assistance program. I believe they said that they help up to $2500 (maybe a little less). Have you reached out-of-pocket on your insurance plan? I have and now the insurance company pays 100%. I don't know the type of insurance plan you have, but if you reach out-of-pocket, you shouldn't have to pay anymore. I reach out-of-pocket quickly with the Copaxone.
Avatar m tn My mother just turned 90 and is living in Denver, CO (elevation 5,280 ft.) She was diagnosed 2 years ago with COPD, then CHF and pulmonary hypertension. She is currently using supplemental oxygen therapy 24/7 @ a rate of 5 - 6 LPM. What might be the benefits from a life expectancy perspective and a quality of life perspective as compared to the stress of a move to sea level, (Florida - high humidity)?
