Calcium is my basic problem with forming numerous stones too. Over the past 30 plus years I have tried drinking the lemon water too and it didn't help one little bit. Also tried cranberry juice with the same result. What I have been doing and it has helped a bunch so far is NOT drinking tap water and only drinking bottled water. This spring, I passed 3 years without having a stone, which for me is great! I used to get one or more a year.

Some days it seems worse than others its really strange, i don't smoke load about 15 a day but there dead thin and i only smoke half at a time.
If your doc prescribed Flomax for the kidney stone, more than likely that is the issue, as it is also prescribed for prostate issues, and is a blocker, like the above poster mentioned. I know this, as I have the same issue... The Internet is a lovely thing...
I can only tell you what I've been told over the years I've dealt with kidney stones. Drink plenty of water daily and make sure that your urine stays clear in color when you urinate. When you think you're drinking enough water, then drink another 8 oz glass of it. Additionally, recently I've started taking Flomax (generic version) on a daily basis.
The aqua rain filter system is a double kettle looking contraption that sits on anything (countertop, shelf, table, etc) and you pour water in the top and it filters to the bottom. It comes with 4 filters and we can get about 3 gallons a day with just 2. If we are in a pinch for a lot of consumable water we put all 4 filters in it and let it go to town!
Flomax can reduce the amouht of seman that you produce. It would be unusual though to have this production reduced down to zero unless the man was ejaculating very often. In general terms Flomax is a useful medication with very few side-effects..
, where normal for him means slow urination due to long standing BHP, but not as slow, painful, and dribbling as with Flomax. We are just guessing that the way Flomax works by relaxing muscles is causing these effects. (Could the enlarged prostate end up pressing even more on muscles?? I realize these are just guesses: I have looked at a lot of medical sites, but this does not look like to be listed as a side effect!

Thanks for writing in. Prostatitis is usually not a side effect of use of flomax, indeed it can happen due to BPH, for which flomax is used as treatment. It would be better to get prostrate examination done by a urologist and take opinion for surgery for resolving these symptoms.
Choice of antibiotics depends upon the kind of organism affecting the prostrate.

I went to ER 10 days ago with what I thought must be my appendix exploding! 10+ pain in right lower flank area. They managed the immediate pain w/ IV which worked very quickly. After a CT scan they determined I have a 3mm stone making it's way from my right kidney to my bladder. They sent me home with a script for Norco and Flomax and told me to get a follow up appt. with my Dr., drink plenty of fluids, and strain my urine. It was a week before my Dr.
He takes 5 mg blood pressure med and he takes Flomax daily. When he first started taking Flomax; which he needs to be able to urinate or as he says to keep his plumbing working, anyway, he would have dizzy spells. His doctor said this was normal, a side effect of Flomax. But now lately he has been passing out; I think that is unusual for any medication and I'm worried there may be something else going on.
Can flomax have impact on your sleeping behavior.

People use coffee filters to get the tylenol out of drugs byt straining it after diluting it with water...either to avoid excess tylenol intake or to shoot up....dont know what the case is but i do know that is one use for coffee filters as my friend would get otc codiene and flilter the tyleonol out...aspiring i dont get? and this could not even be close to the truth of what is going on...
