OK I may just take a half of one its just unbearable and I would like to get some sleep tonight
Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.
Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?
Its been 26 days since off the hydro; I have been able to sleep without any muscle relaxers for the last 3 nights. only feeling an occassional slight muscle twitch in my leg. I thought it would never end but it did! I've been able to sleep 9-10 hours a night for 3 days. I'm still very tired tho for some reason, I suppose after the hell of a year of treatment for hep-c, and 2 months detoxing off hydro, being tired is "normal".
It's been 3 weeks since I stopped the hydro, but I still can't sleep because of these constant muscle contractions in my legs and back. Last week the dr. gave me Flexeril, the muscle relaxer to help sleep. It works well but leaves me so groggy the next day. the last few days I have only been taking 1/2 or even 1/3 pill, it takes longer to sleep, but still works. Last night I tried without one and the muscle spasms were worse.
Has anyone ever takin flexeril during pregnancy? I'll be 24wks tomorrow. Obgyn put me on it due to pulling a muscle in my stomach. I'm high risk with twins.
I made it to my day off today, and got about 10 hours of sleep with nothing but some melatonin and prescribed flexeril. Thank The Lord!
Am i allergic to flexeril, benadryl, and most PM drugs? I have scoliosis, a bulged disc, and very mild arthritis in my back, but the pain can get to be unbearable. my muscles are so tight and knotted that it can leave me in tears (20 year old male). i have been taking flexeril for a year, and i have only used two bottles (60 10mg tablets) however, when i took one two nights ago, i began to shake and get very cold.
2 glasses of wine helped me sleep last night..LOL...I am not a drinker. I may be doing that again tonight...better than pills. I did take Flexeril way back but didn't abuse it. It knocked me out completely.
m on an arthritis oral medicine, Voltaren, twice a day and I take flexeril (cyclobenzaprene) in the evening to help me sleep. I also take a multivitamin, fish oil and calcium+D. It's a lot of pills, but I actually notice a difference when I have to stop taking my fish oil and voltaren before spinal injections or my upcoming second round of radiofrequency ablations. What I'm saying is be patient, and don't give up on finding what works for you!

nuerontin, I also take flexeril rarely but it can help you sleep..I followed the recipe without difficulty...amino acids are naturally occurring/some our body makes and some we get from foods we eat......our body does not absorb alot of the pill form of amino acids anyway but some and it is helpful for healing our worn out brains....caution as with everything we take..I found it is best not to take the tyrosine at night...
Anyone know if it's safe to take emergenc and a multivitmin? I tried googling it but. Bunch of nonsense came up. I really don't want to bother my poor primary care. I've already called him about ten times during this process. And my second question, I know you can't give medical advise. Just want to know if anyone has taken the muscle relaxer flexeril during wds. I'm afraid to try it because I don't want it to give me adverse affects.
t say it was awesome and symptom free but much more bearable this last time. WHY you ask?!?! I took flexeril on days 1, 2 and 3. I stopped taking it yesterday because I had to return to work today, but I definitely believe the flexeril helped because it was so much more bearable this time. I'm by no means 100% but yesterday (day 4) I was functional and today I'm a little more functional.
Hi for almost a year I’ve been having several symptoms that I now believe point to serotonin syndrome. Excessive sweating in normal temperatures, tremors, IBS, tachycardia & many more. All started after starting adderall, shortly after my dose was upped on that & depakote upped. Also take trazodone, gabapentin & flexeril & melatonin. Taking 2 of these or more can cause it.. Anyone w/ info or experience?
t really care how hard it is to get off of them. The flexeril was easy to get off of except I lost sleep a couple of nights and was hyper a few times kind of up and down.Going off of Flexeril seems to have helped the problem. I do still get one or two skips in a minute but not like it was and no other symptoms. Now I am figting Toe pain because I got toe nail fungus on my big left toe and I bumped it and then my toe got infected with a bacteria too. So I need to walk for my back but it hurts.
I am now day 5 clean. Feeling great. But one thing is the past few nights I have taken 800mg ibuprofen and 5mg flexeril to help with the restlessness. It works! Should I stick with ot or slowly taper it down to get use to a normal nights sleep? Ive tried the tea hot baths and melatonin etc. They put me to sleep then I'm wide awake at 3am. I also can't afford no sleep because I am a stay home mom of 3 year old twins. Any suggestions would help.
