Ever since I took medication for an uti, I've been having very bad pain in my left arm, chest, back, and stomach. Sometimes my left shoulder will go numb my feet sometimes has tingling sensation. And my heart will start beating really fast and I feel like I couldn't breathe I've been to urgent care and the emergency room took blood test and urine test all normal.
I take one flexeril and one/two Darvocet daily. I try to use it as little as I can. I am in the process of looking for a new job. I work in the healthcare field and am subject to drug screening. How long does it take to get these meds out of my system? I know this sounds fishy and I assure you it is not. I have only been taking these meds for a short time, and hope not to have to take them much longer. But, I am concerned.
Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.
Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?
Im also a vet & disabled on Fentynal. Just was informed today that I had 2 hrs to make it into the clinic for tox screen & to bring my patches in to be counted. I just had a urine test last wk, I said. Nurse got mad & said You're not taking your meds. Your tox screen came up negative for Fentynal...& Don't bother going to ER since you're not going thru' withdrawals either.
I will list them all and can you please tell me if they are safe to take with one another? My husband is only 38, he had a stroke last year he had a stent put in, now he is on plavix, atenolol, hydrochlorothiazide 25mg, last week his doc added niacin 500 mg, simvastatin 20, flexeril and tramadol, also his one aspirin each day, these are just so many meds, are they safe?

I also have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, more specifically its caused by fructose and lactose malabsorption. Have you ever had a hydrogen-methane breath test to find out if you're intolerant to any types of sugars? If you haven't, I think this will definitely help you figure out what is specifically causing the diarrhoea, if its related to the IBS.
I wouldn't drink with flexeril in my system.
thanks ladies. i will text in another 2 days or so, if i can wait that long!! it drives me insane not knowing! last month i was cramping so bad i had my doctor call me in something (flexeril) and i usally cramp SO bad the day before my period and i havent cramped at ALL this month! i only took one/two flexeril last month so i dont think that would have any change on when i start.
Blood in the urine can be a nothing but also can be quite significant. The first thing that I do is ask my patients to repeat the urine sample a few times as "mid-stream" urinalyses. Most urine samples are provided as initial voided specimens, i.e., the individual just urinates into the cup from the outset of voiding. A mid-stream involves allowing the first portion of the stream (maybe a third of a cup or so) to go into the toilette, then collecting the sample.
Alcohol and flexeril are both central nervous system suppressants and consuming alcohol while taking flexeril compounds the drowsiness, confused thinking, respiratory suppression of the muscle relaxant. Flexeril/alcohol combos are frequent causes of accidental overdose.
I would avoid the alcohol while taking the flexeril completely. If you already were consuming alcohol, I would skip the flexeril for at least 12 hours or more, depending upon how much alcohol you consumed.
Im in the UK and it seems the first step is the urine test according to my NHS walk in centre but you can ask for the blood test straight away if your really worried....but I think that depends on any symptoms.
Ive heard different opinions on the urine test though, I have been told that its no good by one or two people but then afew others have said its fine for an intial check.
Ive had a urine test and it was ok so Im just curious, as it was clear is that it? am I clear for diabetes?
