flexeril drug test

I have a question, I took a drug screen but I took flexeril, will flexeril make you fail a drug screen. Anyone that can help me I will be ever so greatful!!!

They are both muscle relaxers. I believe Zanaflex ( tizanadine) is prescribed more for back issues.

I am a little over 4 months post op PFD and Fusion skull to c2. I am back to work FT, but not driving yet as I'm still in the Miami J until the end of next month. I have my 6 month F/U appt. with TCI (the wonderful Dr. B.) in December. I go to PT 2X per week and I think I'm doing pretty darn well considering the procedures I had done. Now, for the most insulting thing I've EVER been told.

The meds he has taken in the last 30 days are Flexeril for pulled back muscle, Ibuprophen, Tylenol, Ceftin (Antibiotic) due to a tooth being pulled the absecessed and Lortabs. Can any of these give a false positive for the Darvocet. And how can I prove it to his work place.

I am surprised 2c all the comments on withdrwal frm flexeril, I guess I am the exception, I took this drug 4 at least 5 years and maybe it did help at the first...than I realized flexeril was really not improving any relief to the muscle pain I was suffering. So I just stopped, no headaches, no nausea, no added muscle pain....

When possible, avoid the combined use of them as the risk outweighs the benefits of being on both medications. You should call your doctor about this drug interaction.

ve also tried Soma and that also worked pretty well for me and was not as sedating (for me anyway) as the flexeril. I do think the flexeril is a little better than the Soma was as far as helping wiht pain/spasms.

m going again tomorrow to perhaps get off of flexeril and maybe get a monitor to take home. Has anyone had this happen to them when on Flexeril? I noticed that the skipped beats got worse with the supplements i'm on too but don't know if these should cause such an event.

t have done it without them and our Heavenly Father. Was on Gabapentin (for me is a horrible drug). He offered that again, maybe won't be as bad now, not withdrawing from Valium. Flexeril helps me get past the pain and sleep good even after I tore a rotator cuff a few weeks ago. Have to sleep on stomach from old wreck which means 1 hand goes up near pillow. Now he stopped the Flexeril. Having sleep problems without it so trying to taper like I did Valium. It's not going very well.

I was always told you had to privide that information before the test was taken if not it is assumed you failes the drug test. Not to mention if there are going to be drugs in your system why would you wait to show proof of validity.. Showing proof of validity before hand can eliminate any mis-communications after the test comes up positive for narcotics. Also most employers who insist of drug testing arent sending emploment prospects to get urine tests that are in-depth.

Hi for almost a year I’ve been having several symptoms that I now believe point to serotonin syndrome. Excessive sweating in normal temperatures, tremors, IBS, tachycardia & many more. All started after starting adderall, shortly after my dose was upped on that & depakote upped. Also take trazodone, gabapentin & flexeril & melatonin. Taking 2 of these or more can cause it.. Anyone w/ info or experience?

After a few years on Flexeril I was recently switched to Baclofen. It seems like Bacofen is the go-to drug for MS related spasicity. The wanted me to start out on 1/2 does for 7 days and go to the full dose after that. I made it three days on the 1/2 dose and couldn't take it anymore. Since it takes a while to get to therapeutic levels I was kept awake all night with TERRIBLE spasms, worse than usual, I had muscle weakness and I was puking my brains out.

I am new to this site, saw your post, and feel compelled to tell you about my experience with Flexeril. Several years ago I was having serious neck spasms, so my doctor prescribed Flexeril. I don't remember the milligram, it was standard, and I was to take 3 a day. The first day I took three, I found myself looking at my bottle of pain medication thinking about taking the whole bottle at once! I immediately threw the Flexeril in the trash.

I got a pre-employment drug screening today and they said they found something. The only thing I've taken in the last few weeks were these. Would any of these make me fail a drug test? Help. I really need this job.

Flexeril and soma are both muscle relaxers....doesn't seem as if teking both each day would be of any benefit...flexeril is the safer of the two as far as addiction....there are some warnings posted as far as anti-depressents and some of the aminos...I was on lexapro (anti-depressent) during detox...nuerontin, I also take flexeril rarely but it can help you sleep..I followed the recipe without difficulty...

Hi there. I was prescribed flexeril today for some back pain. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? If it is addicting? Will it make me sleepy/hyper, etc?

Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.

Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?

t sleep because of these constant muscle contractions in my legs and back. Last week the dr. gave me Flexeril, the muscle relaxer to help sleep.
