I know I am going to feel uncomfortable, but is there anything that will help. I also have scripts to 300mg neurotin and 10mg flexeril..will either one of those help with the withdraw.
It has also reduced the side effects from the Baclofen. The more frequent lower dosing seem to give him better control over his severe spasticity.
I presume you know that Amrix is the extended release of form of cyclobenzaprine which is better know as Flexeril. It is a muscle relaxer.
I have not taken Amrix but I have taken Flexeril periodically in the past and initially when diagnosed with SIJ Dysfunction about 6 years ago. I tried unsuccessfully to adjust to the medication. It made me drowsy. Than I began taking it only in the evenings and upon waking I had a "hang over" feeling.
My doctor suggested monitoring for the first 24 hours after my first shot for when the onset of any side effects occured and then adjusting when i gave myself the shot so that the onset or most of the "WORST" of the sx occured while I was sleeping. So, if you get the shot at 11 am and at 5pm you start notcing sx then adjust the next time you get a shot so that you do it 6 hours before you'll be asleep.
Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.
Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?
m curious as to what would be a good dosing regiment in order to avoid any tolerance or anything like that should I try to only do one every couple days? 2-3 a day with a bottle of 60 seems like a Vicodin in my personal opinion... sorry for the rant but just kind of want some opinions on this and what it is (barbiturates) should I toss em?

Yeah, sorry about any possible miscommunication. The Incivek dosing schedule of three times a day has to to do with the relatively short half-life of Incivek. Taking each dose with 20 grams of fat has to do with increasing absorption & bioavailability. Even though someone's doctor may have said otherwise it would be helpful to provide the Incivek Product Monograph to show the dosing schedule has changed.
Honestly, I would just skip it and resume your normal dosing schedule in the am. You are on a every 12 hour schedule, and it would be one thing if it were just off by a little, but you are off by 6, 7 hours.. Not that it would harm you in any way, but you may end up with a few unpleasant side effects, especially since you're dosing twice daily.
If you find yourself frequently forgetting to take a dose...then find a way to remind yourself.
