Flexeril ultram

Common Questions and Answers about Flexeril ultram

flexeril

3139924 tn?1342837477 Hi! I would stay away from the ultram is possible and use the flexeril and xanax as comfort meds and finish withdrawing from the Vicodin. Ultram comes with its own set of problems. All the feelings you are having are very normal,,from the anxiety and crying. It takes about a week to start feeling better and you were not on that much so hopefully your withdrawals wont be as bad (maybe?). Its great that you recognized that you are dependent on the pills to get thru the day.
Avatar f tn I have an office job and do a lot with the mouse and keyboard. I am currently taking ultram 4 times a day Flexeril 3 times a day, toprol 3 times a day, benicar, 1 a day, Neurotin 300 mg. 3 x a day. It is not helping. I have pain in my legs and lower back also. I am having a terrible time trying to stay awake each day. Between 10 and 2 I feel like my head is continually dropping. Has anyone found anything for this fatigue?
Avatar f tn I voted 5-10 but I don't take meds specifically prescribed for fibro. They are for the stuff that goes along with it.... singulair, xyzal, omnaris (chemical sensitivities and regular allergies) synthroid topamax (migraines) wellbutrin After being seriously overmedicated for 4 years before my dx....I'm also very careful about what meds I take and how they interact. I didn't have any luck with flexeril, amitriptyline or cymbalta. I took vioxx for years and felt great on it....
669241 tn?1236264344 m taking Ultram ER 400mg a day, Flexeril for muscle cramps at night, Restoril very night to help me sleep, Norco twice a day for break through pain, Zoloft for depression, a lot of vitamins ad fish oil. My pain never completely goes away, but mostly it's around 5-6 on a scale 1-10. Right now I'm just trying to get it under 10 not having much luck. Good luck to you and welcome.
Avatar f tn He has had to go to the ER a few times and x-rays were normal. He went to the dr. yesterday and she gave him Flexeril and Ultram but they don't seem to help the pain. Tonight I put hot, wet washrags (making them hotter slowly) and after waiting about 15 minutes, rubbed ben-gay on his neck and shoulder muscles. He says 'if I could just crack my neck, I think it would feel allot better'. Any other suggestions about what I can do to help him?
217599 tn?1202850952 i'm really afraid to take this new prescription of tramadol (ultram) until i know if they are similar in action and addictive qualities. someone out there please help me!!
Avatar f tn I can't believe I'm here and I must admit I am really disgusted with myself for getting in the condition I am in. I'm feeling sorry for myself and defensive.....totally know that I screwed up but I am still managing to justify and rationalize and be arrogant at the same time.....jeez....I sound really charming, don't? Lol. Seriously, I'm glad I found you folks and I am hoping for some info and support.
Avatar m tn I live in an are of NJ in which Lyme Disease is not uncommon. I removed an intact tick from my left shoulder blade area about 8 months ago. I didn't develop a "bulls-eye" rash but in the center - where the tick had actually been attached - there was a very dark red-brown surrounded by a thin whitish line and then a large red area around that. The area was sometimes itchy and sore and lasted for several weeks.
Avatar m tn com and was not sure if it would do as good as valium. The last time I tried to stop I was taking ultram and hydro. That ultram was a hard one to stop, even though I was still taking the hydro I was depressed from stopping the ultram, I have been off of them over a year now and have kept my dose low. I still am tried of taking them and would like to try to stop, if I can handle the pain. Thanks for the feedback.
Avatar n tn ) Although I do try to keep my mind over the pain through meditation and other positive mind-thought methods, I continue to take pain medications (ultram-er/flexeril) daily as well as loveox injections for the clots (of which, I may be on for life - at last check the clots had not recanalized - both clots are becoming thick and fixed.) Do you have suggestions on how I can better manage my daily pain as well as maintain mobility and some flexibility, oppose to stiffening of the hips and spine?
Avatar f tn I have been not drinking at all for the past 6 months. I only take Ultram with OTC stuff... but I think the Ultram modified my chemicals enough so that I got by without a SSRI. Have gone cold turkey with the Ultram when I have had the flu and taken OTC Sudafed etc... but now that I think about it, I do think I had side effects. No energy, tired, restless arms and legs, palpitations. Problem is, I am starting Paxil CR 12.5 again.
747443 tn?1233024111 I tried Lyrica but the side effects were too much for me, Same with Neuronton. I am finally taking Ultram ER 200mg 2 X a day, Flexeril at night along with a mild sleeping pill, I take Zoloft 100mg in the morning and 50mg at night. I also take Baclofen at night. My internist put me on Norco for the break through pain. I went back to the Rhemy last week and he put me on Sulfasalazine for the RA. My hands are beginning to twist and knot up. my elbows are knotted up also.
1069827 tn?1296650628 barbie I have taken Ultram, Ultracet, Effxor, Neurontin, Lyrica, Flexeril and pain meds. All had side effects or made me sick because of UC and IBS. Right now only doing 5mils of Fexeril at night, 20 mils of Tranxene 3 times daily and tylenol. Helping with sleep problems, eases pain just a bit and keeps me calm. Problem though is sleepy, loopy minded, and balance is bad. If you do not have stomach problems Flexeril might help you if you take several doses daily.
1549643 tn?1495759353 I take flexeril and ultram, which works amazing on my thoracic area. Even the neck pain, went from 2 episodes a week to about 1 a month now. Sometimes I take naproxen as well. I have been taking Ambien when I am at the point of crying my eyes out and unable to deal with it. This has been going on for years. A normal for me is taking two. Wake up still in pain, two more. Last time this happened to me, that would not work.
669241 tn?1236264344 I take 250 mgs of Lyrica twice a day. It has really eased the pain some, better than neurontin, ultram, flexeril and etc. Big problem is have to sleep 6 hours before drving as it contributes to fibro fog. But with fibro, Pad, OA RLS & nerve pain in arm and leg I will stay on Lyrica. Hope it or another med will help you.
684012 tn?1227990456 I have also been on different meds for the pain of fibro and my last trip to the internist finally got me some relief. I am taking Ultram ER 200mg a day, flexeril at night for my muscles, and I am now on norco 10.325 twice a day or as needed. I still take all of my vitamins faithfully. This is the first time in months that I have actually feel pretty good. Don't get me wrong, I still have some pain but it is manageable. I hope this helps you some.
232328 tn?1207090071 Hi there. I was prescribed flexeril today for some back pain. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? If it is addicting? Will it make me sleepy/hyper, etc?
Avatar m tn Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.
1415174 tn?1453243103 Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?
680303 tn?1239984840 Hi Tuck, Can't seem to get many answers. It stinks b/c my mri doesn't show up terrible, but I know the psin I have plus my husband has chronic fatigue syndrome. I hate being on meds and honestly my husband needs me here but we need money badly. My legs after 4 years still hurt and only on meds are they not bad. I know ms contin is more for muscle pain, which I have, but also bone pain.
5142668 tn?1364230745 Could my fibro be what is causign my tremors. I tend to have my hands shake when I am not doing anything with them. It kind of reminds me of the way my great grandmother's hands used to shake. This just makes me a little nervous. What really bothers me is the way my legs shake. I am not talking the night time twitching from RLS.
177382 tn?1253041140 Has anyone taken cymbalta for FM? my dr wants me to try it was wondering about any experiences. she was not big on lyrica but would have given it to me to try if i wanted. i usually take flexeril and ultram. i'm a lil leary of an antidrepressent b/c i was on paxil and had suicidal issues with that.
Avatar f tn I am new here, addicted to prescription pain meds, DOC Ultram. Longest without any pills was couple days, however, i would take flexeril, tylenol 3, hydros and drink alcohol until i could get more. i am now in my 5th day with NOTHING. first two days, muscle twitches, restless legs, hot, sweating, then chills, nausea, insomnia, severe panic, anxiety.
Avatar f tn Maybe something like ultram, its not technically a narcotic but it will probably work better than just the motrin..
1172510 tn?1263445403 to need stronger pain killers. I rarely take the flexeril....it mainly just helps me fall asleep. The ultram helps some...but makes my hands shake. I have taken Norco/Lortab over the past few years in moderation; or while someone holds them for me but it just doesn't solve the problem. And, just when I thought things were better....this hip and leg pain returned; and much more severe! I think your advice was wonderful. I definitely need to visit my surgeon and/or a good orthopedic doctor.
Avatar f tn Alcohol and flexeril are both central nervous system suppressants and consuming alcohol while taking flexeril compounds the drowsiness, confused thinking, respiratory suppression of the muscle relaxant. Flexeril/alcohol combos are frequent causes of accidental overdose. I would avoid the alcohol while taking the flexeril completely. If you already were consuming alcohol, I would skip the flexeril for at least 12 hours or more, depending upon how much alcohol you consumed.
