What does it mean or what can my husband do...his thumbnails have a ridge in center of nail and then it breaks at the end. It's a v in the center of nail. He keeps them short but it still breaks.
Now, I have noticed being on the VD for the past few weeks/months my nails finally seem to be growing slowly and not splitting or peeling, yet anyhow.
and more lately my forehead is not shedding my skin and that area the size of my small fingernail are becoming crusty and and remain attached to my head. woke up this mornign with my blood pressure high 148/89,its never been that high and it keeps going up and down,,,,im scared its from splitting the dose or serotin syndrome,as i also have had the dierehha some sweating,ever since being put on prozac,,,my dr wont be in till tommorow and i go see him on tuesday,,,maybe i need to cut back on the prozac,,,to like 30 mg till i see dr does anyone now about serotin syndrome,,,and if i might have it
I'm sorry for the problems you've been having... it sounds like you were doing a wonderful job of maintaining your weight loss until you became hypo. I commend you for being able to maintain your weight for such a long time.
Can you give us an idea of what a typical dinner is like? You might still be eating things that are spiking blood glucose, which in turn spikes insulin levels and after the food wears off in a short time, the hypoglycemia takes over.
Okay...everything i read says to take acetomenophin and put in water. Umm..the blister won't stop growing and it keeps getting bigger and more painful and I think water is making it worse. It's by my fingernail and parts of my finger that wasn't burned is starting to swell...and the pain is shooting down the entire finger....I took acetomeniphen with codeine recently and stopped dipping it in water. the blister feels extremely hot...
I scratched it using my fingernails and i noticed the pimple rash had a blood (red but the blood did not went outside the body) and i checked the fingernail that i used there is no visible blood also...

Could this be a type of fingernail material growing from the scalp? The physical consistency of this 'hair' strongly resembles that of a fingernail. Extensive searching the net has found nothing. Surely my daughter is not the only case like this. I read about keratin, but it seems the keratin in hair and nails is the same.

Am I at risk of any serious disease if I get a very mild scratch from some other man's fingernail? This happened to me a few days back while travelling in a train. Since then, I have been thinking about it and it has been causing me a lot of anxiety. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
