In the past, I have received the same treatment a few times, in different areas, but unfortunately this time I noticed major indentations in every area injected (different Dr. then previously used). I've heard this will come back with time (weeks/months) but want to be sure the body re-produces collagen in this area naturally, especially since this was not an acne induced indentation. Note, I have never had scars left from a pimple or these swollen areas in the past.

I had an axillary lymph node biopsy a month ago, and a couple weeks ago noticed some indentations on the breast on that side, and puffiness in between the indentations. Saw an obgyn last week and she said she had not seen anything like it, recommends mammogram and 2nd opinion. What kind of doc should I see? Mammo's don't show inflammatory breast cancer.
What was the medicine? I have these little indentations on my skin now from where the sores were once on my skin.
Not only that, I have red discoloration on my face where some of the sores were. To describe it, there seems to be under the skin layer redish color.
Also, it seems that when I was infected the chicken pox, everything that i touched with my hands I would get a sore. I remember washing my hair. One uses the fingertips to wash the scalp.
I got out of the pool and I noticed indentations under my eyes, particularly on one side. I also noticed darkness of the areas where the indentations are. Part of the indentation plumped up later that day but this was on the part closer to the upper part of my cheek. I am 45 years of age and have up until now been considered to look younger than my years, so this is a bit of a blow to my confidence.
It is four weeks since this has happened and the indentations and darkness look the same.

You are asking about the indentations in the pictures? Had you ever had a sore there? This isn't after you pushed on it? (such as you'd see with pitting from edema)?

By waves do you mean horizontal indentations? I'm not sure if I'm right about this, but it might be iron deficiency(again, I'm not sure). Type in your symptoms on the internet and see what it says - and of course, see a doctor and see what he thinks. Maybe he'll run some bloodwork for you. Good luck finding answers.
ve had these crater like indentations on the under side of my penis (the part that makes contact with the scrotum) This has always itched like crazy, ever since then, before I even touched a female in that manor.
Recently though it's been getting very dry, peeling, flaking skin, and of course those indentations are there.

I scratched it using my fingernails and i noticed the pimple rash had a blood (red but the blood did not went outside the body) and i checked the fingernail that i used there is no visible blood also...

Three days after finishing 10 days of Bactrim, another small boil appeared in the same area, so I took another 10 days of Bactrim and was put on 5 days of Altabax ointment. Since then, I have not seen any new boils. However, I have noticed some small indentations that look sort of like enlarged pores forming in the same area where I had the infection. They have appeared spontaneously, and nowhere else on my face.
I have many indentations, although while I can feel them easily, they are not visible when you look at me. On another forum I belong to, many people report visible indentations. Could this be a type of fingernail material growing from the scalp? The physical consistency of this 'hair' strongly resembles that of a fingernail. Extensive searching the net has found nothing. Surely my daughter is not the only case like this. I read about keratin, but it seems the keratin in hair and nails is the same.
Hi, I don't get tongue spasms, but I do get very sore gums and teeth. But I have been told this can be due to fluctuating female hormones too as I am in the menopause also. Peggy64 is also right, you can get an enlarged tongue if you're hypothyroid, sometimes it's possible to see indentations along the edges of your tongue where your teeth dig into it because it's enlarged.

What you are having is collagen loss due to a side effect of the steroid shots. These indentations which have formed after steroid injections can take upto 6 months to heal and fill in when collages in formed but sometimes it may take longer or less depending on the depth of the indentations and the response of the skin. If they persist then you can get collagen filling and laser resurfacing done.
Fingering is not a risk of HIV transmission cut with a fingernail or not.

Am I at risk of any serious disease if I get a very mild scratch from some other man's fingernail? This happened to me a few days back while travelling in a train. Since then, I have been thinking about it and it has been causing me a lot of anxiety. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
