I didnt drink last night I just took a klonopin and a few shots of nyquil with some valerian root and it wasnt enough to knock me out and overpower the RLS. I think I fell asleep somewhere around 9am. But I did wake up at 4 so I guess its still a decent nights sleep.
I dont know what it is this time around but it is just a cakewalk compared every other w/d ive gone through including hydrocodone. That is so weird considering how much stronger fentanyl is than hydrocodone/oxycodone.
I would keep in close contact with your doctor as he can prescribe clonidine to keep your blood pressure from rising to dangerous levels, along with valium, ativan, or klonopin to ease the anxiety, shakes and jittery-ness, and also short-acting opioid rescue medication to help ease the transition off of Fentanyl and you would then wean slowly off of the short-acting opioid and do a short taper off of the ativan and klonopin (you're not going to be on those very long so you shouldn't h
I called my family doctor to advise him of what I was doing and he offered his support and yes, he said the same thing, there is no substitute for fentanyl. All he could offer was another opioid.
I have been through withdrawal before so I knew what to expect. The morphine wasn't a major problem but naturally the fentanyl was. I read up on withdrawal symptoms, stopped the patch and increased the water intake to start. Also added vitamins. As many as I could.
Hi, I have been on fentanyl 75mcg and oxycodone 5-10 mg/day for the last year - ischemia and trigeminal neuralgia.
I really want to get off these meds b/c of addiction issues etc. My doctor maintains that I have probably developed a tolerance to these meds. (tolerance vs meds - same thing??). In any event I stopped the oxycodone 10 days ago and my doc tapered the fentanyl patches to 40mcg for 1 month then 12.75mcg for the next month. Also rx'ed clondine and klonopin for anxiety.
Anway, I have a severe pain condition and was suffering off pain meds for 3months and went to the ER and got on Norco and had 2 painful surgical procedures, one in oct. and one in Jan. So I have been on Norco since October and the mistake I made was taking at least one dose everyday and got hooked in a month b/c of my very high tolerance with the fentanyl. I am now taking 4 to 6 10/325 Norcos 3 times a day just so I won't go in w/ds. So I have no choice but to detox myself next week.
Hi. I was prescribed Fentanyl Patches for severe osteoarthritis,rheumatoid arth. and degenerative disc disease. the Dr. wanted to put me on 50`s but I refused and he put me on 25`s. The 25`s made me so sick he decreased them to 12`s. I have had serious sweats and nausea from the beginning but have had some pain relief. I talked to the Dr. about the side effects and he basically ridiculed me about it. I stopped going to him and now my family practice dr prescribes them.

I have been clean for 8 days from percocet and loritabs and the pain patch (fentanyl) and I have been having some anxiety and fatigue. I have found that if I get out of myself I feel better. So I have been trying to help others during this time.....my neighbor's husband just died last month and I have been talking with her trying to make her feel better.
I have been clean from Klonopin for 5 years and I started taking pain pills about 2.5 years ago. Getting clean is hell....
Taking the hydro's are just going to prolong your detox from the fentanyl and you will actually still feel some detox symptoms because fentanyl is so much more powerful than hydrocodone, there is no comparison between the two. So by taking the hydro's you're still going to be going through withdrawals and your'e picking up another habit that i gaurantee you that you will start taking upwards of 20-40 a day of those especially if you are using them to help with detox.
So on top of the suboxone daily I was on 4 mgs of klonopin(clonazepam, very potent, long lasting benzo), and Ativan(Lorazepam-also very potent anti-anxiety benzo). the klonopins was taken during the day and the lorazepam at night. I never noticed any breathing problems or ever came close to death, but everyone is different and I cant stress that enough.
10mg 6 times a day and Soma 4 times a day...I was on Fentanyl and Morphine also but quit those cold Turkey Saturday...I have Severe Panic Attacks at night..Paralyzing..that turns into Severe Depression during the day...Is this normal for Withdrawal?...I don't mind the physical aspects...it's the Anxiety and Depression that are terrifying me. Even though I've been prescribed these pain pills for a fractured back...I just don't want to be on them.
At present, I am on Duragesic , morphine, Klonopin, and Soma for what I am told is fibromyalgia. And I abuse the hell out of all of it. Being the old junkie that I am, I even figured out a way to spike the fentanyl without getting the other **** that is in the patches. I also brak the patches open & use it orally. I have used up to 10mg without any obvious harm. And since this drug is normally measured in micrograms, I find this alarming, to say the least.
I had ankle fusion surgery and they put me under and I was on Fentanyl and Oxycodone... I didnt have to stop taking my meds to have surgery. Everyone and every surgery is different for every person. I would make sure you are honest and tell them what you have taken, so that there is not anything that could cause a problem or be a surprise...
I have been taking .5mg of klonopin daily for 6 months with no drinking and i was curious... would it be safe to have one beer every now and then? I am afraid of dying... but I miss having an occasional drink. I am only 21 and I don't weigh much (140lb), but I do miss having a beer every now and then to relax.
I take my klonopin everyday at 2PM btw. When would be the ideal time to drink the beer if it were safe? I usually prefer one at 9-11amish or 9-11pm ish.
A friend of mine has gone to the hospital multiple times from the same combo, with 90mg of methadone and 3mg of klonopin. I saw him take his klonopin and fall asleep standing up, then fall to the floor. I had blackouts from benzo methadone mix, though I was taking more methadone. It shouldn't be legal to prescribe those drugs together, the school of medicine considers it dangerous. So how did you end up on methadone and konopine and how long have you been on your current dose?
